Duchess of Alba to marry in September 2011

The Duchess of Alba, is getting married in September but has already made her husband-to-be signal a pre-nuptial agreement waiving his rights to any benefits he might gain from the union.
Alfonso Díez will not inherit either titles or assets, much to the relief of the children of the Duchess. - The Reader

It is only gossips of the press, nothing is confirmed, the press has spent two years saying that she will marry and nothing.

just to be clear, this is husband number-what?
He would be husband n.3; the first one was Pedro Luis Martinez de Irujo, married in 1948 and died in 1972; and the second one was Jesus Aguirre Ortiz de Zarate, whom she married in 1978 until his death in 2001.

Luis de Medina y Fernández de Córdoba, duke of Santisteban, Marquess of Solera, Marquess of Cogolludo and son of the XVIII Duchess of Medinaceli died yesterday in Seville, being 70 years old. The burial will take place in Toledo today. His funeral took place yesterday in Seville, among the attendants were the Infanta Pilar, the Duchess of Alba, the Count and Countess of Peñaflor, the former mayor of Seville Alejandro Rojas-Marcos and the writers Antonio Burgos and José Antonio Gómez Marín

She should do it! Three is a lucky number, especially with reference to marriage. I can speak from personal experience. :p

Did his mother, the duchess of Medinaceli attend? I believe she did not attend the wedding of her grandson, the duke of Feria this summer.

The funeral mass took place in the "Casa de Pilatos", where the Duchess lives. She's very fragile now, I don't think she will attend the burial in Toledo, she probably went to the mass that after all, took place in her house.

Beautiful pictures! But it's a pity that granny did not dish out one of her tiaras. The black head piece of the otherwise beautiful bride is somewhat strange.

Yeah, I found that black think weird as well :ermm:
