There is no doubt that the grandsons of their Majesties the Kings have inherited the love that their grandparents have towards the sea and the nautical sports. In the middle of the morning of yesterday, Holy Friday, the queen dona Sofía, to the steering wheel of her car and accompanied of her daughter the infanta Elena and her grandsons Felipe Juan Froilán and Victoria Federica, they went up to the tie of the "Somni", one of the crafts of the Royal House, in Portopí's military naval base.
After them there were coming the dukes of Palm, the infanta Cristina and her husband, Iñaki Urdangarín, and the small Michael, Juan Valentín, Irene and Paul Nicolás, ready to spend a good moment in high seas, all together. Once they all inside the rapid craft, took course towards the portahelicópteros that exists in the middle of the bay, close to the field of ditches where yesterday celebrated one more day of the trophy Princess Sofia of Wind.
It was traversing a slight and fresh air, but the sunny day was inviting to enjoying the good time, though when the sky was becoming cloudy it was necessary to shelter. This way so, illuminating sports apparel, the members of the Royal Family, with the exception of the King and the Princes, Felipe and Letizia, the small Leonor and the duke of Lugo, Jaime de Marichalar, were during the morning seeing all that was happening opposite to the bay of Palm on board of the "Somni". The small ones were contemplating the small crafts of light candle that were taking part in the edition XXXVII of the Trophy Princess Sofia.
When we approach, on board of another launch, we could see how Victoria Federica was chatting with her aunt the infanta Cristina and this one, after listening to her, it was turned towards her husband, Iñaki Urdangarín, and both were smiling. After them, Felipe Juan Froilán, more to his air and worry. We saw the Queen very smiling. Dona Sofía showed a book to Iñaki, " My Fifty Years ", which reports the memories of the prince Nicolás of Greece.
This way so, the Queen and her daughters passed on the Holy Friday in family, since it marks the tradition.

Playing with dad

The duke of Palm, Iñaki Urdangarín, he enjoyed his children and his nephew in the Parc of the Sea Days of vacations in family and outdoors, which there are enjoying the members of the Spanish Royal Family in Majorca. Since it is in the habit of being traditional, Marivent's Palace shows great activity during these days of Holy Week, where the Kings together with their children, sons-in-law and grandsons pass the days of Easter. Many are the occasions that the Majorcans and tourists we have to see the Monarches, the princes of Asturias, the dukes of Palm or the dukes of Lugo lengthways and width of the Island. And last Thursday another opportunity was given to us. We could contemplate the doting father Iñaki Urdangarín, who accompanied his three children, Miguel, Juan and Pablo, together with his nephew, Froilán, the Parc of the Sea.

Once there, the small ones enjoyed in the zone of the slides, swings and also of the football. Though we continue waiting for the princes of Asturias and for their daughter, the infanta Leonor, assurance that of today does not pass and we see her. Or like much, tomorrow, in the Seu, in the mass of Easter, at which for enough years the Royal Family is present the complete one. Meanwhile, we have continued to the expectation.
As we were saying last Holy Thursday, the family little by little goes meeting in Palm. And if on Wednesday we were surprising the Queen and her daughter, the infanta dona Elena, of buys, on Thursday we us stumble over Iñaki Urdangarín, playing with the small ones.

Monitored discreetly over the safety members, Iñaki Urdangarín played a long moment with his children and his nephew Froilán. With them he played a partidito of football, sat down on the grass and chatted with them, walked and in the middle of the evening they left the Parc of the Sea; the small Pablo to shoulders of his father, whereas Miguel, Juan and Froilán were chatting. Certainly, the small ones already are made a few hombrecitos. So it, that up to tomorrow. That in the Seu it is sure that we see the Royal Family to the complete one, as every year.

The Queen delivers in Palm the prizes of the Princesa Sofia of Sail

The Queen Sofia delivered this night in the Conference hall of the Spanish Village of Palm the prizes of 37 edition of the trophy of SAR Princess Sofía-Mapfre, that throughout last six days there have disputed in the Bay palmesana almost 1.500 participants of 39 countries.
Dona Sofía was accompanied forthwith by the consellera inhabitant of the Balearic Islands of Presidency and Sports, Rosa Puig; the mayor of Palm, Catalina Cirer; and the delegate of the Government, Ramon Socías, between other authorities.
Between the winning ones there was the British regatista Nick Dempsey, who today achieved the absolute victory of 37 edition of the tilt, when won in six of twelve sleeves disputed in the class Neil Pryde RS:X masculine.
Since it is traditional it hopes that the Kings are present on Sunday at the mass of the Easter of Resurrection that will be celebrated in the Cathedral of Palm, to which also other members of the Royal Family might come.

I have been looking for photos of the excursion in launch, but I have not found anything. The holidays are bad and the people do not work very much, today in Spain almost no newspaper is not published because yesterday it was a holiday.
I hope that tomorrow we have photos of the mass, and that comes the whole family, included the smallest of the family. Though it is not a custom that they take to the babies, I hope that they take Leonor, because we have not seen her, and besides would be nice to see her on Sunday of Easter with her godfathers.

I wonder how friendly or how close Mette-Marit and Cristina are? I've never seen them together. Last summer we saw the royal men (Haakon, Kyril and Inaki) hanging out at the beach together with their children. And this Easter we've seen Kyril and Rosario at the beach with Cristina and Inaki on a separate occasion from their time with Haakon and Mette-Marit.

I can't decide if both women would have a lot or a little in common. They are both pretty casual and devoted mothers, and somewhat sporty, so I could see that they might have things in common.

Leonor reappears in Majorca

The infanta Leonor will add today the fifth public appearance in her five months and a half of life. Finally, after numerous requests of the public and of her familiar environment, the princes of Asturias have agreed to appear with their daughter and they will do it to the exit of the mass of Resurrection that will be informed this morning in the cathedral of Palma.

A good mission that the princes of Asturias might recover in Majorca would be to be hosts of their European counterparts, who would be been charmed with of happening a few days of summer in the island. But, clear, the first thing would be to convince don Felipe and dona Letizia.

The one who has written this article has been wrong, because last year the Princes didn´t moved of Spain in The Holy Week. They were in Madrid where they photographed them going out of a restaurant, in Alicante visiting the grandparents of Letizia and in Palm where they went with the children to the cinema. In those dates Letizia had just found out of that she was pregnant and her grandfather was dying.
And another thing, the matter of the Queen and Leonor is a bit absurd, is more the desire of the press to see the girl, since the Kings see Leonor every day and I do not believe that they need to presume of her.

The Queen and the Princess covered by the multitude

To go out of buys for the center of Palm can turn into an almost impossible mission, and more if you are of the royalty. This could be verified yesterday, on six o'clock in the afternoon, when the queen dona Sofía and the princess of Asturias, Letizia Ortiz, walked together along Palm. Throughout the whole week we have been, as many citizens, to the Queen realizing buys for the shops of Jaume III. Numerous looks were fixed in all that was happening, a usual image when the Kings veranean or a few days of rest happen in Majorca. But the happened yesterday evening broke all the forecasts.
Everything began when the queen dona Sofía, accompanied of her sister, Irene, and the princess of Asturias, dona Letizia, who certainly had come to the Island to the yesterday midday, together with the prince Felipe and her daughter, decided to go out of buys for Jaume III. One very crowded evening, when the opened shops to be and to be in full holidays of Holy Week. The case is that, as the Queen, the Princess and Irene were walking looking at shop windows, the people were crowding who admirers, which was making raise the interest of other citizens and tourists. But the expectation came to its culminating point when dona Sofía and dona Letizia entered a shop where they were about twenty minute.
And as the buys they can wait, the citizens decided to remain in the door or to call by telephone the friends to tell them what they were attending. There happened moments of euphoria, passion and delivery, which might be called, inside the slang of the Holy Week, the whole procession.
The safety members of the Royal House realized a good work, since the whole world could see and even come out in photographs with cameras or with the mobile telephone to the royalty. To the exit of the shop and seeing the multitude of people who was waiting on both sides of the street, they decided not to continue with the buys and to return to the cars. It was a mission that would have turned out to be almost impossible not to be for the magnificent work of you them escort.

Well no wonder The Princes spend their holidays away from Palma, its a bit hysterical if they can`t even go out for shopping without creating a fuss like this:( I simply cannot imagine something like this happening in Scandinavia, if the people want the royals to vacation there they should show them a little more respect

Less badly than it did not happen to them to go walk withLeonor, it had turned into a madness. Normally in Palm these things are not in the habit of happening, until they happen. Another day the Queen went to buy had a bit of expextación but nothing more, did it coolly. But of yesterday as the article says it must have been worth seeing, we will wait for the photos.

Letizia's photos looking at the mirror and painting the lips to or looking at something that has in the mouth they are a bit strange. The photographers are tremendous.

yeah.. the public & photographers go mad whenever the spanish royals go on outing.
last year, we can still see the pregnant princess letizia walking with her husband casually. i can't imagine if they did similar thing, also with leonor, what will happen?

I think all this attention is mainly because of the princes, people are use to see the infantas with their families and the queen, but this year there is a big expectation, mainly because people want to see Leonor.

the information about felipe and letizia being in jordan is quite surprising. also, very nice that the jordanian royals invited them. perhaps rania and letizia made good friends? :)
i really can't wait for pictures from today...

from what i could take out of the article, it said that the dukes of palma and lugo would be present with their children... i would say all the children will be there, it will be more like a family photo :)

I thus expect it, but the Dukes of Palm do not consider custom to carry its children when these are so small,we will expect then to the photos :)
