Although the weather wasn't the most appropriated to go to the beach, the Spanish Royal Family went to Illetes, outside Palma de Mallorca, for a day at the sand, with goof friends Rosario Nadal (wife of Prince Kiryl of Bulgary) and two children of her, Olympia and Tassilo. Queen Sofia, Infantas Elena and Cristina with Iñaki and the children spend a while near the sea. The Queen and her daughters took some photos of the children and Iñaki played football on the sand.

Infantas Elena and Cristina, along with Iñaki went to do some shopping in Palma. Later they drove their own cars to the Marivent Palace, the SRF residence in Mallorca.

Thank you very much for the pictures, ElsaM and Anna :) Froilan is a real little rascal and I love the picture of his sister showing her tongue to the photographers
I´m really impressed of the close family ties of the spanish RF, but sometimes I wonder, if Felipe and Letizia never want to go alone on holiday. Without the family (and friends) and outside of the country´s territory (?) |

They went to ski out of Spain - in Canada, if I recall correctly.

Great pictures of the family visiting the Drach Caves Anna! Thanks for sharing them.
I loved the pictures of Froilan and Juanito playing with each other and Queen Sofia laughing in the background as she watched them (second set of Colourpress photos). One question (that I should know as I love this family): Juanito and Froilan are about a year apart right? Is it just me or does Juanito look to be as big as his cousin Froilan in these pictures? Not as old but certainly as big. Also loved the picture (in the same set as above) of Inaki simultaneously with Pablo sitting on his shoulders and with Miguel in his arms. That is a devoted daddy! And nice that Victoria had some female friends with Kyril and Rosario's daughters along on the trip, too. (Though I suspect that Victoria probably likes being the only girl in the family amongst all those boys!) Where were the King and Felipe and Letizia on this trip? |

Thank you Elsa M. and Anna for answering my questions.
I guess it does make sense that both Froilan and Juanito are so big -- their daddies are pretty big! |

Thanks for the pics! Does anyone know what the "K" on Cristina's boys sweaters stands for?
