Today, the Princes of Asturias shall join King Juan Carlos and Queen Soafia at La Zarzuela, to have lunch with the Mexican President, Vicente Fox, and his wife.

ETA has exploded a car, near ARCO, just a few hours before King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia's visit to the fair. A car pump has exploded at 9h30 AM, near the public square of Don Juan de Borbón del Campo de las Naciones (Madrid), wounding 43 people, at least. Today, King Juan Carlos, Queen Soafia and the president of Mexico (one of the invited countries of this edition of ARCO) shall inaugurate the fair, just about 500 meters far from the local, where the explosion took place.

King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia with the Prince and Princess of Asturias today as they received the President of Mexico, Vincente Fox, and his wife and daughter at Zarzuela. It seems as it was a very warm meeting, so I suppose the relations between the persons here is very warm indeed. Pictures from Getty.

I echo the love for the green suit. It's such a fresh, spring-like colour and it looks so nice with Letizia's complexion and hair colour. And I like the added touch of the scarf, too.

Not quite sure I care for the brown and beige shoes though.

Thanks for the lovely photos as always :) - I love the outfit, it's very elegant and feminine. The color is flattering as well. Indeed, different choice of shoes would be, to my personal opinion, more suitable. A taupe shade perhapse...No bows...I believe the idea was to match the shoes with hair color, yet, I should think the lesser contrast would be better - just a thought...
