Count me in also with the group who thinks only the bride should wear white on her wedding day. I personally love the veil, the hair and I like the gown. My only neg comment about the tulle is that it might date the dress. Kind of like the big dresses of the 80's (think Demetrios). Nothing worse than looking at wedding dress and you can pinpoint the year of the wedding :)
Didn't really care for Camilla's hat as well. But she looks happy as the Mother of the groom. And like her or not...you can't deny that happiness. Here's a weird question...in English weddings why are the attendants of the bridal party typically childern? This could happen elsewhere but I am not aware of it. In American weddings, childern are usually the flower girl and ring bearer...everyone else is a friend/relative of the bride/groom and around the same age. Just wondering. |

Me too, I like the Duchess of Cornwall's outfit, it looks stylish and elegant on her, but especially the hat and the colour she was wearing i don't like them, she seems really interested in those kind of feathers on head....
But anyway, congratulations to the new couple, wish all the happinesses for them. More pictures from Getty Images/Tim Graham: We also can see the Duchess' shoes too, i think they looked alright, and stylish for her.

I have actually come across many weddings when the bride and grooms mum's both wear white. It is planned by the bride.
White is only off limits to the guests. |

To me Camilla's dress looks like its a very pale sky blue.
The bride's dress was okay. But I think that the fish tail look belongs on the red carpet, not a wedding, besides, its kind of outdated now. Still the dress was pretty enough and the veil was beautiful. Tom Parker Bowles isnt good looking at all, he looks like he has his mother's bad teeth, not a very nice smile at all. Thats just my opinion. Pictures from ABACA Press |

The Duchess of Cornualles, Stretcher ex- Parker Bowles, threw tears when accompanying to her Tom son until the altar of the small church of San Nicholas de Rotherfield Greys, to the outskirts of London.

In this picture, Camilla at the wedding you can see that Camilla's outfit isn't white...it is more a very pale blue.
I liked what Camilla wore. The bride's dress was kind of nice, I liked the look she was going for. |

Yes, I wondered the same thing. It looks very white in some photos except on the inside of the cuff -- there is looks light blue. As the day has gone on and more photos have been shown I have become convinced it is a pale blue.

I'm very happy for the lovely couple. Sara's gown is up-to-date and thoroughly modern. I'm not in love with the gown but I like it:p The veil is especially pretty. I also liked her hairdo and the flowers in her hair are a nice touch. She made a lovely bride although she could ease up a bit on that black eyeliner - I thought she had on a bit too much:) Tom looked especially handsome today. Weddings brings out the best in everyone:p
I thought Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall's outfit was white but to me it really looked like a very, very pale gray becaue her shoes looked like they could be a shade of gray. Oh, well, I guess it is white afterall I thought Sara's bridesmaids' gowns were quite lovely, especially the print gowns. Does anyone know the identity of these young ladies? All of the following photographs are from Getty Images:) : 1. The bridesmaids arrive at the church 2. Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall mingles with guests. Andrew Parker-Bowles is in the background 3. A view of Sara from the back 4. Sara stepping from her car at the church 5. Tom arrives at the church 6. The Duchess of Cornwall's sister Annabel Elliot, Sara's father Bruce Shand and Andrew Parker-Bowles 7. A close-up of Sara. Note the black eyeliner 8. Flashback: Tom and Sara, who is not wearing white:p , at Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall's wedding in April (Photo courtsey of AFP)
