Queen Silvia looks stunningly beuatiful. Very few women can wear orange but she does it with great style and panache.
I do not agree with the complaints of Pr Madeleine's hair and tiara. She has a lovely youthful looks about her that is entirely appropriate for a private wedding.

Question:
Is Madeleine's tiara sitting correctly on her head? I looks like the front is up a little. Is it her hair? Its a pretty tiara

Great Hannelore about the names from the young couple: Elisabeth von Wulffen and duke Carl Theodor von Württemberg. Can anyone tell us of they are related?
Yes, we better clear up their familial link before we marry them off. :p

All the pics I posted are from Seegerpress and Fotomarktplatz.

: Here's a picture of Prince Gustav
: zu-Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg at the recent
: Bayern/Berleburg wedding in Sweden. He's
: with a lady and some of us are wondering if
: it's a new girlfriend or just a guest he is
: standing with. Does anyone know who she is?

I don't know, but to me she looks like Marguerite Fouché d'Otrante (b. 1968) - who is a first-cousin of Gustav's father. The latest picture I have seen of Marguerite is eleven years old, though...

I really like how Victoria and Madeleine's dresses are matching. Nice colours, and the dresses suits them. Silvia's dress, however... Orange?

I absolutely LOVE her wedding gown. It might just be my favorite royal wedding dress of all time!!

Yes, It is Marguerite d´Otrante on the picture together with Gustav W, but they are not dating. Not yet anyway!
Marguerite is the daughter of duchess Christina d´Otrante, née von Rosen and late Gustaf d´Otrante, a younger brother to prince Richards mother fürstin Margareta Wittgenstein-Berleburg born in 1909 and still alive.

lovely pictures et all. The bride didn t look to good in my opinion though, esp. for a princess (but maybe it was the rain). Strange that Richard and Benedikte werent there.
Looking at the pictures I can only conclude something completely different though: thank goodness for mrs Sommerlaths Brazilian genes, Carl-Philip is such a treat :p

Sweden's lovely young princesses Victoria and Madeleine made a pretty picture in pink and blue summer gowns topped off with tiaras when they attended the wedding of Prince Manuel von Bayern and Princess Anna zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg.

No, it's the name she was born with, so she can't give it up. But in traditional circles such as aristocracy you usually take on your husband 's name after you're married.

Because Anna has such an important name and title herself, she'll probably be referred to as princess Anna von Bayern, née (=born as) princess zu SWB.

But more importantly, by marrying into a Royal Family Princess Anna is now styled Royal Highness, quite a jump from Serene Highness.
