The Fail has a picture of Ernst August Jr. escorting Liz Foy de Osma (presumably a relative of the bride) with a caption that implies that the two of them recently had a baby together.

All in all, it must have been an interesting event with both boys, their estranged father, their mother, and at least one stepbrother from the Casiraghi. I hope Sr. behaved himself.

Not a fan of lace gowns but the bride was positively stunning.

Glad to see the entire family, even dad, managed to come and behave.

Very good placement of that grand tiara, makes it much easier for people to appreciate its glory than when Ekaterina wore it as a headband.

Typical gown with too much lace for me. It's not bad, but the upper half looks a bit stiff (especially the chest area), with a beautiful train.

The thing I'm most unhappy with is probably her makeup? Maybe it was the weather, but she usually looked better than this. And the low chignon could be a little be neater.

P.s. Curious to see the number of Casiraghis that turned up. I thought at least Charlotte and Dimitri would show up

Me thinks, this tiara needs something more dramatic.
I know it is a historic piece, but I'm afraid I don't like the floral tiara at all. The design is old-fashioned and the sparkle is meh.

I don't like lace gown but overall Alessandra looks gorgeous. The gown and earrings is a bit meh but somestimes I think when you have a stunning massive tiara you'd better keep other things simple, otherwise it would be too much.

Only Pierre (without Beatrice) made the journey.
There was a pic of a couple seen as Pierre Casiraghi and Beatrice Boromeo, but they were not them.
Pierre wears a beard.

All three of them and their partners were at the civil wedding in London. Perhaps due to location, Charlotte and Andrea opted not to go, since they were at the first. Nice to see Pierre though.

Article with picture (from Cosas.pe) including two nice videos. Christian dancing with his mother-in-law .

Alessandra de Osma se casó con el príncipe Christian de Hannover

The dress is from the spanish designer Jorge Vásquez (from Hola.com):

i am not a fan either. the tiara is huge compared to sassa's small frame. she still pulled it off, she is a beautiful lady.

the dress was not by borgo de nor, but by jorge vazquez: https://www.hola.com/novias/20180316...jorge-vazquez/

i am surprised to see sassa walked to the church rather than being driven. that is most unusual, i wonder if it is a peruvian wedding thing. hope her dress didn't get too dirty.

lovely videos of the party on the balcony and everyone including bride and groom dancing away with their guests. looked like a really fun event.

The Pre-Weeding Dress was by Borgo de Nor.

What a lovely wedding. And the bride looks exquisite, "au naturel" beauty. Love the dress, tiara, et al. Also, I thought Princess Alexandra looked charming in that darling pink & black creation, perfect for her age, even though she looks much younger than 18.

ps: hopefully Charlotte is next .....

ETA: btw it makes sense Andrea was not there, as his wife is ready to pop, lol. Likewise, Pierre's wife is due to give birth to their second child. As for Charlotte, who knows? At least they were all there for the civil ceremony. :)

I am sure the sparkle is not meh at all in the evening, when the diamonds unfold their magic splendour in refracting and reflecting the light of chandeliers and candelabras...

This is exactly the reason why grand jewels are usually only worn when the late afternoon advances into the evening - and in evenings.

Too much light causes the diamonds to appear "dead". In old newsreels you see magic sparkle. On our 4k ultra HD screens you see less sparkle from the very same diamonds. Cause: in ye olde days the lighting was not as good as now. It gave the diamonds chance to sparkle. Today, with lighting into perfection, the diamonds have no any chance to catch, break and reflect as the light comes from all sides.

Elizabeth Foy escorted by Ernst August is the mother of the bride ! The Fail should double check their information.

Did parts of Europe get stuck in a 70's time warp? Rather unfortunate clothing choices for some of them.

Not a lot of german royals. I saw the Markgrave of Baden and his wife and the Prince of Leiningen.
