Prince Christian of Hanover and Alessandra de Osma; Nov. 2017/March 2018

I wonder if that was really Ernst August Sr., or his brother (whom looks just like him, only younger, and was at Jr.'s wedding last summer)?

Whatever the circumstances, I cannot wait for another noble high society royal wedding, though understandably low-key. ?

CONGRATULATIONS to Prince Christian & Alessandra!:cheers:

The gentleman on the photo Hola has provided is indeed Prince Ernst August of Hannover, it's not his brother Heinrich, I'm 100% sure! :flowers:

Not only you.

Pictures and article of the Pre-Wedding Party.
Ernst August of Hanover was there . What a surprise.

Her dress is from Borgo de Nor.

Thanks for the update!:flowers:
Prince Ernst August's Sr, attendance is not surprising at all. TRF members said that he would not snub Prince Christian's wedding.

Princess Alessandra looked beautiful. It is nice that she opted for a classic perfectly-fitted gown.

It is great that Prince Ernst August Jr was in attendance. Princess Alexandra's dress was a bit awkward. Luis Medina looked very dashing.

She looks beautiful!

I can't wait for the rest of the pictures.

I wonder what Ernst said to his elder son? And if he has met his granddaughter yet?

The Hannover floral tiara looks better on her then on Ekaterina. Pity that she choose the same tiara and not one of the other Hannover tiaras

I completely agree. And i also like the dress better - although not crazy about it too..... seen to many similar ones recently

I want to like her dress...but I am just meh about it.

Thanks for the links!
I wonder who (Count von Bismark or Ms Moss) got an invitation? It is unfortunate that Count Nikolai looked disheveled. Princess Eugene and Princess Beatrice looked relaxed.

Wow, Alessandra looks beautiful! I think her gown is already in my list of favourites.

It's nice to see Caroline’s co. there; it seems that the Casiraghis are quite close to Christian. I didn't realise that Beatrice and Eugenie knew the family either.

OMG! I didn't realize that was Alexandra helping her with her train!

Where have the years gone?

Alessandra's dress reminds me of Marie Chantal of Greece from many moons ago.

:previous:The Fail has a picture of Ernst August Jr. escorting Liz Foy de Osma (presumably a relative of the bride) with a caption that implies that the two of them recently had a baby together. :whistling:

All in all, it must have been an interesting event with both boys, their estranged father, their mother, and at least one stepbrother from the Casiraghi. I hope Sr. behaved himself.

Not a fan of lace gowns but the bride was positively stunning. :flowers:

Glad to see the entire family, even dad, managed to come and behave.

Very good placement of that grand tiara, makes it much easier for people to appreciate its glory than when Ekaterina wore it as a headband.

Typical gown with too much lace for me. It's not bad, but the upper half looks a bit stiff (especially the chest area), with a beautiful train.

The thing I'm most unhappy with is probably her makeup? Maybe it was the weather, but she usually looked better than this. And the low chignon could be a little be neater.

P.s. Curious to see the number of Casiraghis that turned up. I thought at least Charlotte and Dimitri would show up

I don't like lace gown but overall Alessandra looks gorgeous. The gown and earrings is a bit meh but somestimes I think when you have a stunning massive tiara you'd better keep other things simple, otherwise it would be too much.

Only Pierre (without Beatrice) made the journey.
There was a pic of a couple seen as Pierre Casiraghi and Beatrice Boromeo, but they were not them.
Pierre wears a beard.

All three of them and their partners were at the civil wedding in London. Perhaps due to location, Charlotte and Andrea opted not to go, since they were at the first. Nice to see Pierre though.

I know it is a historic piece, but I'm afraid I don't like the floral tiara at all. The design is old-fashioned and the sparkle is meh.

i am not a fan either. the tiara is huge compared to sassa's small frame. she still pulled it off, she is a beautiful lady.

the dress was not by borgo de nor, but by jorge vazquez: https://www.hola.com/novias/20180316121706/alessandra-osma-vestido-novias-exclusiva-jorge-vazquez/

i am surprised to see sassa walked to the church rather than being driven. that is most unusual, i wonder if it is a peruvian wedding thing. hope her dress didn't get too dirty.

lovely videos of the party on the balcony and everyone including bride and groom dancing away with their guests. looked like a really fun event.
