Wedding of Manuel de Morales y Borbón-Dos Sicilias and Emma Ruiz de Azcárate y García de Lomas at the Real Monasterio de la Encarnacíon, in Madrid.


The groom arrived church in the arm of his mother, Princess Inés de Borbón-Dos Sicilias y Borbón-Parma, Duchess of Siracusa and cousin of King Juan Carlos.



The bride worn a gown designed by Lorenzo Caprile and in her hair a precious tiara that belonged to the groom's great-grandmother, Archiduchess María Anna of Austria.




The bride arrived to church with her father José Pablo Ruiz de Azcárate.





After the wedding the couple posed in the entrance with the groom's grandmother Infanta Alicia de Borbón-Parma and Dukes of Badajoz, who represented Spanish Royal Family.

Fürstin Johanna Sophia von Hohenberg (*1966) married Count Andreas Henckel von Donnersmarck (*1959) in Strobl am Wolfgangsee (Österreich, Austria), on June 17th 1995.

The bride is the daughter of Prince Albrecht von Hohenberg and of his wife, née Countess Leontine von Cassis-Faraone, while the groom is a son of Count Karl Josef Henckel von Donnersmarck and of his wife, née Princess Marie Adelaide of Luxembourg.

The couple has now four children.

Archduke Otto von Habsburg-Lorraine (*1912) married Princess Regina von Sachsen-Meiningen (*1925), at the Church of the Cordeliers, in Nancy (France), on May 10th, 1951.

The couple celebrated the golden wedding anniversary in 2001, with a huge family celebration.

Jacques de Crussol, 17th Duke of Uzes and son of late Duke Louis de Crussol of Uzes (*1925 +2001), married Alessandra Passerin d'Entreves et Courmayeur, at the Grand Duchy of Uzes, in Languedoc-Roussillon (France). The civil wedding took place on July 1st, while the religious ceremony happened on July 10th.

Prince Nikolaus Carl Ferdinand zu Waldeck und Pyrmont (*1970) married Princess Katharina zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg (*1972), in Schwabing (Munich), on September 29th 2002.

Princess Tatjana zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg, Erbprinzessin Elisabeth zu Löwenstein-Wertheim-Freudenberg, Prince Anton-Ulrich zu Waldeck und Pyrmont and Nicolaus Wenzel were the witnesses.

The groom is a son of Prince Volkwin zu Waldeck und Pyrmont and of his first wife, née Baroness Orlinda von Gablenz, while the bride is the daughter of Prince Andreas zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg and of his wife, née Princess Luise von Schönburg-Waldenburg.


The couple has a daughter: Princess Letizia zu Waldeck-Pyrmont (*2003).

The same I say about Maria de Hohenlohe Langenburg de la Quadra (Thanks mtbcm). Their class, beauty and sophistication are an example for all.

Princess Norberta (Nora) von und zu Liechtenstein (*1950) married the Marquis de Mariño, Don Vicente Sartorius y Cabeza de Vaca (*1931 +2002), in Vaduz (Liechtenstein), on June 11th 1988.

The bride is the daughter of Prince Franz Joseph II of Liechtenstein and of his wife, Countess Gina von Wilczek (what makes her younger sister of Prince Hans-Adam II of Liechtenstein).

The groom was the son of the Marquess de Mariño, Maria de Lourdes Cabeza de Vaca y Carvajal, and of her husband, Carlos Sartorius Diaz de Mendoza. He was previously married to the Argentine Isabel Zorraquín – whith whom Vicente became father of Isabel (Prince Felipe of Spain’s former girlfriend), Cecilia and Luis Sartorious – but they got separated in 1973 and their marriage was annulled in 1978.

The couple had a daughter: Maria Teresa Sartorius y de Liechtenstein (*1992).
