Here they are! The wedding of Ludwig Rudolph of Hanover to Countess Isabella von Thurn-Valsassina took place on October, 8th 1987 in Bleiburg.
Thanks Leonardina! I really love the tiara and gosh I even like her wedding dress-it reminds me of my 1985 fairy princess halloween custume!:)

I have to give it to all you Europeans! You know how to have weddings.
Everyone dresses for the occasion. the wedding gowns are beautiful. the grooms always are well turned out. The settings are beautiful, the churces extrodinary.
Makes me want to move over there, find someone to marry, have abeautiful wedding, and live a quiet life in the country enjoying the air, the scenery, and the history.
But that's just me and my wishful, hopeless romantic thinking!!

You rule, Elsa.

Nice wedding... I love the way the bride remained young in her nuptial gown... She is so pretty, I love the hairdo, the tiara and the veil.

Almost every guest choose red and I think it is good colour to dress in a wedding, gives it a cheerful tone.

Thank you, Elsa!

From what I've read, his two daughters, both of whom are older than his new wife, can't stand her.

I've been reading the same. In the current issue of Vogue, she's featured and comes across as the haughty socialite people whisper she is. Could she be the female version of prince Pavlos of Greece? As in, impoverished Euro royal catches rich-beyond-rich American mate? At least Pavlos comes across as friendly and approachable.

To be fair, dixon seems a nice guy, so maybe it's real love on her part...

in any case she was a beautiful bride. Love the tiara!

I remember to see the wedding of Princess Arriana Theresa Maria zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg in the pages of Hola Magazine! I loved her dress and imo she really was elegant, regal and happy.
I'm glad to see those pics again. Thanks Elsa! :)

As they say, love is blind and doesn't know the age - has no limit.

that's especially true when there's a fat wallet attached to a prospective groom

By the way, for the pictures of Barbara Bach's sister, I had to do a double take: it looked like she was wearing princess Diana's dress, bouquet and veil!

I think "impoverished" may be pushing it. Arianna's father, Prince Alfonso, certainly wasn't poor by any means.

That's true and by the same token, the same may count for Pavlos of Greece these days (I'm saying 'these days' because he/King Constantine got reimbursed by the Greek gov for some of his Greek property, although he's since been giving it back to Greek society via his new foundation. in addition one of the members here posted an interview with his brother nikolaos who's working for the foundation, and he was been showing driving around in one of Mercedes's newest & most expensive models, so indeed 'impoverished' may be pushing it..)
