Prince Heinrich XIV Reuss zu Köstritz & Baroness Johanna Raitz von Frentz
The wedding took place on April 30th 1995, in Regensburg (Bavaria), a villa also known as Ratisbonne. After the ceremony, a reception was held at the Schloss Sünchig.
Both belong to illustrious German families, whose origins go back to the 12th and 9th century, resoectivelly.
Erbprinz (Hereditary Prince) Heinrich XIV Reuss zu Köstritz (*1955) is the son of Prince Heinrich IV Reuss zu Köstritz and Princess Marie Luise zu Salm-Horstmar. He is a member of the House of Reuss and gained the title of Prinz Reuss zu Köstritz. On the passing of his father he will become Head of the Princely House of Reuss.
Baroness Johanna Raitz von Frentz (*1971) is the daughter of Baron Jan von Raitz von Frentz and Baroness Kunigunde von Hoenning-O’Carroll.
The couple has now two children: Heinrich XXIX (*1997) and Tatjana (*2001).

Austrian countess Isabella-Gabriella von und zu Arco-Zinneberg marries Belgian Alexandre Stefanovich in the St Martin church in Austria, close to the Bavarian border.
The bride is a daughter of count Rupprecht von und zu Arco-Zinneberg.
A gala dinner and ball took place the night before the wedding. The day after the couple was married by father Augustinus Praem (from Belgium) and father Heinrich Henckel von Donnersmarck (from Austria).

Prince Georg zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Hohenstein married Baroness Benedikta von Maydell von Wolffersdorff on May 23th 1998.
The wedding took place at the Stadtpfarrkirche St. Nikolaus, in Zwiesel. After the ceremony, a reception was held at the Schloss Oberzwieselau (Baron von Maydell von Wolffersdorff’s estate). Gerd Käfer’s team was in charge of the banquet.

Prince Paul-Wladimir von Oldenburg & Pilar Mendez de Vigo 2001
Herzog Paul-Wladimir von Holstein-Gottorp, Duke of Oldenburg (*1969), married Doña Maria del Pilar Mendez de Vigo y Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg (*1970), on January 20th 2001. The wedding took place at the Monastery of Bronnbach (Germany), since Pilar's grandfather, Prince Karl von Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg, was living there for a long time.
Duke Christian von Oldenburg (for the groom) and Princess Sibilla of Luxembourg (for the bride) were the wittnesses of this ceremony, after which a short reception was offered to the more than 300 guests, at the Bernhard Hall of the monastery, culminated with a huge ball, in the evening.
The bride is a daughter of Jaime Mendez de Vigo y del Arco and of Princess Monika Maria zu Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg, while the groom is the son of Friederich August von Holstein-Gottorp, Duke of Oldenburg, and of Princess Maria-Cécile von Preussen.
The couple has now 3 children: Duke Kirill (*2002), Duke Carlos (*2004) and Duke Paul (*2005).

This already is, and sure will be, one of my favorite threads here on the Forum.
I just love reading and learning about these so-called lesser known royals..they're often so much more faithful to old traditions, always so interesting to see,
And in addition, it highlights the romanticism of places we typically tend to underrate , such as Germany--bt that country has a ton of blue bloods still, and, when it comes to castles, that country really takes the cake! They have the best, oldest, most romantic castles in my opinion! France and Britain, with all due respect, can't hold a candle to Germany when it comes to castles! That in combination with traditional weddings, ah! Nothing beats that, now does it!

Baroness Nicola von und zu Bodman (*1973) married Mathias Schilling on May 11th 2002, at the Pfarrkirche St. Peter und Paul, in Bodman (Baden-Württemberg, Germany). After the ceremony, a reception was held at the Schloß Bodman (Count Wilderich von und zu Bodman’s estate).
The bride is a daughter of Count Johann Wilderich von und zu Bodman and of Baroness Maria-Claudia von Stotzingen, while the groom is a son of Countess Agnes-Maria von Wilderich and of Reinhard Schilling.
Mathias Schilling is a co-founder and Partner at BV Capital. He leads the company's investments in the US (where they are currently living) and focuses on consumer media, wireless and software, especially in San Francisco. Prior to BV, he was a consultant at Bertelsmann Ventureas, in New York and Paris. He received his Master's degree in Finance from the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland).
They are currently living in S. Francisco, where their son, Caspar Schilling (*2003), was also born.
