The bride's little attendants are storybook perfect.?

She is very beautiful but her wedding dress does nothing for her figure.:sad:

Saving the best for last, her veil is EPIC!:ohmy:

Adorable bride and groom…

…and wonderful-looking wedding guests!

And all very wholesome-looking, too.

The tiara is not a Bourbon Parme and not the Ravinel tiara her Mother and her Sister wore on their wedding day.

It’s probably from the MacMahon family. The tiaras worn by Amaury’s sisters were from the de Ravinel family.

Here are more photos of the wedding of Prince Amaury of Bourbon Parma and Pélagie Mac Mahon:

I'm assuming with the surname Mac Mahon ,the brides family have Irish origins!

Pélagie Jeanne Marie Marguerite Charlotte Natalie de MacMahon was born on 24 June 1990. She is the daughter of Philippe de MacMahon, 4th Duc de Magenta and Hon. Amélie Margaret Mary Drummond, daughter of Humphrey Drummond of Megginch and Jean Cherry Drummond, 11th of Megginch, Baroness Strange.

The MacMahon family is of Irish origin. They were Lords of Corcu Baiscind in Ireland and descended from Mahon, the son of Muirchertach Ua Briain, High King of Ireland. After losing much of their land in the Cromwellian confiscations of 1652, a branch moved to Limerick for a time. They supported the deposed King James II in the Glorious Revolution of 1688 and settled in France during the subsequent reign of King William III. They applied for French citizenship in 1749; after the definitive installation of the family in France, their nobility was recognised by the patent letter of King Louis XV of France.
A military family (14 members of the house of de Mac Mahon were in the Army), they settled in Autun, Burgundy, at the Chateau de Sully, where Patrice de Mac Mahon, 1st Duc de Magenta was born on 13 June 1808, sixteenth and the second-youngest son of Baron Maurice-François de Mac Mahon [fr] (1754–1831), Baron of Sully, Count de Mac Mahon and de Charnay, and Pélagie de Riquet de Caraman (1769–1819), a descendant of Pierre-Paul Riquet.

Interesting insight, they must have left Ireland as part of the Irish Brigade following the defeat of the Jacobites.
The departure of the old Irish Catholic nobility for France was better known and lamented as the Flight of the Wild Geese.

Pélagie's tiara was lent to her by her Scottish aunt (she said so in Point de Vue). Simply gorgeous.

I could spot -besides Archduchess Marie-Astrid- Prince Sébastien and Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg.

On July 8th, Prince Amaury of Bourbon-Parma religiously married Duchess Pélagie de Mac Mahon of Magenta at the Cathedral of Autun, France.
The bride wore a family tiara, very beautiful and graceful.

As mentioned earlier today in the Engagements thread the wedding between Archduke Josef Albrecht of Habsburg-Lothringen and Countess Sophie von Schaesberg took place today in the Bavarian town of Sünching. The bride's grandfather Baron Johann Carl von Hoenning O'Caroll owns Schloß Sünching.
Among the guests were the Duke and Duchess of Braganza, Lord Downpatrick, the Hereditary Prince Donatus of Schaumburg-Lippe and Princess Gloria of Thurn und Taxis.
The bride wore a dress by the Spanish designer Lorenzo Caprile and the groom wore the rosette of the Order of the Golden Fleece.
The Archduke belongs to the Hungarian branch of the House of Habsburg and is descended from Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sophie through his Hohenberg mother.

Have you seen the wedding pictures? The couple look great.

Another great looking couple and what’s his relation to Furstin Manni (nee Mayr-Melnhof)?

Manni is Felix's first cousin twice removed.

His grandmother - Maria von Mayr-Melnhof (1921-1996) was Manni's paternal first cousin.

Franz -> Franz -> Maria -> Franz -> Felix
Franz -> Friedrich -> Marianne

Seeing as Sophie’s grandfather inherited Sünching castle from his Seinsheim grandmother, what is the relation between him and Karl zu Schwarzenberg considering that he inherited the castle the year the last of the Seinsheims died?

Yes, it’s not Elisabeth, but the name of the lady isn’t known yet. Maybe she’s a friend or someone he’s dating?

The Schwarzenberg line branched off from the main Seinshem line during the lifetime of Erkinger von Seinshem, the first Baron von Schwarzenberg (1362-1437).

So I would guess something more than 5th cousin? Like 8th cousin?

No idea. There are genealogies out there that you can use to check. Given that the lines separated 600 years ago it's probably more than 8th generations though they're probably related in other ways than this one.
