Guillaume and Sibylla of Luxembourg were in attendance at the wedding.

CP Alexander said 2 years ago that Brits(Prince Charles etc.) always require very heavy security previously given by approved government body and Serbia is not top of the security list when their government body is concerned.

Crown prince Alexander and crown princess Katherine told at an interview in swedish media some years ago, that they are friends with king Carl Gustaf and queen Silvia and visit Sweden privately sometimes.
So maybe because of this, Victoria is also friends with Alexander's children.

Thank you to all those who shared the photos and videos of today. It's nice to see a good royal turnout. It would have been nice to see a British royal, I'm also surprised they didn't turn up.
I'm not sure if I like Danica's dress though, it looks a little like a hotel dressing gown to me. She still manages to look nice however, even if the dress isn't my cup of tea!

Luxembourg royals were present.

Prince Guillaume and Sibylla of Luxembourg were in attendance at the wedding.

It is interesting that Sibylla's grandfather Paul-Louis Weiller was very close friend of Queen Alexandra of Yugoslavia, grooms grandmother. He often helped her when she was in trouble.

Thanks for that interesting bit of information. So, clearly, they were a very good choice in representing the Luxembourg royal family.

It is a little weird how several members keep mentioning that they would have liked to see Lux royals when it has been pointed out that they were present (in one case even quoting a post that stated Guillaume and Sybilla's presence :flowers:).

I would never guess...Recently I have read book "For a Kings love" by Queen Alexandra of Yugoslavia where she mentioned Weillers as her friends to whom she can always rely on.

Well, maybe they didn't read properly the whole thread before posting. I do it sometimes, so...it happens ;)
 
No Children of the late Prince Alexander and no show up of his widow Princess Barbara and her Son Dushan.

in life the Strange dinner , i never saw such a lot of models with great dresses and jewels.
They did an interview of the Groom's elder Brother calling him His Majesty. He said no wedding for him now but was so happy his real mother and his sisters were there and wished the young couple a long and happy life.

Thank you everyone for all the photos and links etc! It was a lovely wedding and everyone beautifully dressed and looking happy.

The bride's gown was lovely - very elegant and quite a simple design, but interesting in how it was crafted - especially the back.
 
The brides dress seemed very ill fitting, much too big for her!
 
I quite like her dress.... original.... not a copy of the current wedding dresses made of lace (I love lace anyway) but this was different and very nice
 
The likely British royal representatives {TRH the Earl and Countess of Wessex} were in Brunei for the Jubilee celebrations.
 
wow, for me this is the most ugly wedding dress, ill fitted, what is in the back? ugly ugly ugly.......
 
:previous: well the dress makes a design statement, but it is completely unflattering IMO. The hair is lovely.

No tiaras, hats, not much jewelry and even his suit is not that great a fit. I hope it was a good party.

I sound ugly and very first world, but I just don't see the elegance or importance of the event, as events go. I hope they have a happy life together forever!

Who is the blond Lady with long long Dress , the Bride's Mother ?
Who iw the lady with short dark hair wearing glasses and sitting next to Crown Prince Alexander.
