Hola.com shows pictures of the King and Queen in attendance today at the wedding of Fernando Gomez-Acebo. However, though they say the entire Royal Family was in attendance, they show no pictures. I have tried searching to no avail. Has anyone seen pictures?

Cristina does indeed look incredibly elegant. What a class act she is! :) What is the bride's name by the way? And did Felipe and Letizia attend, too? |

Alexandria :) Her name is Monica Martin Luque, and yes, Letizia and Prince Felipe attended as all the Royal Family

The bride's gown is interesting (could have been a little more stream-lined) but I am not fond of the veil...

The Spanish Royal Family attend the wedding of Fernando Gomez Acebo, son of King Juan Carlos's sister Dona Pilar, and hence nephew of the King and Monica Luque at the Church "Encarnacion" on November 27, 2004 in Madrid, Spain

Thank you for the wonderful photos, Anna! Letizia looks very pretty in pink and it's very sweet that Felipe has a pale pink tie to match her outfit.
Cristina's outfit is really wonderful.

I love the Spanish flair of Letizia's dress. It's also a beautiful color. Cristina once again looks fabulous. I don't care for Elena's look. As for Don Jaime's cape, he looks like the Phantom of the Opera.

Some pics of the bride and groom (after all its their wedding)...
![]() I kinda like her gown, except the neck and the veil doesn't really go with the gown. She should have worn something like Princess Maxima's veil. Also, the gown could have been a little more form fitting.. #8: bride with her brother, Ramon Fernan Luque. ![]() Last edited by Anna_R; 09-20-2005 at 03:31 PM. |

Monica's gown does look better in these photos. It's attractive but the veil just didn't work with the overall design.
Does anyone know what tiara she is wearing?

Julia,
You are right about the veil. As for the dress, I think the collar is a bit too bulky. |

I just read the entire Hola.com article and they make no mention of the tiara.
