Erbprinz Heinrich zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Sayn & Countess Priscilla della Rocchetta 2003
Erbprinz (Hereditary Prince) Heinrich zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Sayn (the eldest son of Fürst Alexander, 7th Prince zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Sayn and of his wife, Fürstin Gabriela) married Countess Priscilla Incisa della Rocchetta (daughter of Marchese Niccolo Incisa della Rocchetta and of his wife, Donna Giulia) in 2003.
The civil wedding took place on June 7th, at the Sayn Castle (in Bendorf-Sayn), while the religious ceremony happened on June 21st 2003, in Bolgheri (Tuscany). After both ceremonies, a reception was held, culminated with a huge ball at Villa al Poggio (the house of the parents of the bride).
Priscilla's great great grandmother, Princess Antoinette Chigi-Albani della Rovere, was the daughter of Prince Ludwig and Princess Leonilla zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Sayn.
It was Heinrich’s sister, Filippa, who introduced the young couple to each other in Florence, during the summer of 2001, shortly before her death.
The 28-year-old bride studied art history (BA and MA) at the London University College and the groom is the Vice-President of the Deutsche Bank.
The couple has now one son, Ludovico, born on April 5h, 2006 in Milan (Italy).
