Thank you, Henri. When you say they will live in France, do you mean Paris or somewhere else?

I read that Alfonso works in Paris so they'll probably move there I guess...

For those who know Paris: it is within walking distance of the Métro Place Pigalle and close to the famous Moulin Rouge. |

The adress of the Marquis is easily to find. But I'm careful with posting it on a forum, I would not like to see my private address in here as well.

I just saw them on tv, Elisabeth was beeaauutifull!!! :) Her dress was designed by Edouard Vermeulen of Natan: a cream dress with a lace bodice and a beautiful long veil, and a tiara!!!
Mathilde wore the fuchsia dress she already wore in Luxemburg, a bit too simple IMO. A hairpiece in the shape of a flower in the same colour. Other guests were more elegant, in the tradition of noble weddings: colourful elegant outfits and big hats. Princess Elisabeth was a bridesmaid, she looked so cute!! she had flowers in her hair, that was tied together in a chignon. Gabriel was a pageboy in a blue shirt and white trousers. The couple looked super-super happy. Well it's their wedding day of course :) Hundreds of people had showed up at the church. Some royalty fans but also a lot of people from the village who've known the d'Udekem girls from the time they were children. |

I am looking forward to see pictures and footage too, perhaps on vtmonline? I can imagine Princess Mathilde did not want to outshine her sister the bride and therefore dressed very discreetly.

What is the difference between a Marquise and a Countess? Are they comparable?

You can catch a first glimpse at rtl.be. They put their news journal online (22.7. - 19h…La soeur de Princesse Mathilde…) - but you have to register before you can watch it.
Btw. Prince Laurent, Princess Claire and Princess Louise are invited too. Claire wears a pink dress – like her sister in law. |

more info and a first pic from dhnet:
http://www.dhnet.be/dhinfos/article.phtml?id=152818 According to the police 500 people were waiting outside. There were 350 guests, among them also prince Laurent, princess Claire and their daughter Louise, Armand Dedecker (secretary of state) and his wife, the ambassador of Japan, the son of the prince of Liechtenstein (not precised who exactly), the court marchal Jacques Kasel. The church was decorated with white lilies, the service started 20 mins later than forseen and ended around 18.00. A text from Mother Theresa was read. The couple walked out of the church while the Hungarian March was played. |
