Bruno Gómez-Acebo y de Borbón & Bárbara Cano de la Plaza 2002
Bruno Gomez-Acebo y de Borbón, second son of Infanta Pilar of Spain and Luis Gomez-Acebo y de Estrada married Bárbara Cano y de la Plaza, daughter of Antonio Cano Villajos and of Maria Carmen de la Plaza y Donoso at the Monasterio de la Encarnación in Madrid on October 5, 2002.

The wedding was officiated by Father Jesús Higuera Esteban, afterwards a reception took place at the Club Puerta de Hierro.

The bride wore a dress designed by Pedro del Hierro with a train of 3 metres. She also wore the Sapphire and Diamond Tiara lent to her by Infanta Pilar for the occasion. Bárbara was escorted by her father, Antonio Cano Villajos.

The whole royal family of Spain was in attendance.

Well it seemed like red was the color of choice for all the SRF ladies: Sofia, Elena, Cristina, Margarita, Maria, Simoneta (traces of it) except for Pilar

The bride's gown seemed to be a bit similar to Princess Claire's of Belgium

I have never seen a bride who who wears her wedding gown and veil as well as Barbara! Absolutely beautiful!
