I can't wait to see what she wears! Whatever it is, i'm sure she'll look beautiful. As for the issue of wearing her tiara - i personally don't find it tacky if she really choose to wear it, but given the history behind the tiara and the setting of her second marriage, I think it'll probably be rather inappropriate and i'm sure she feels the same way and most likely not wear it!
Also, her husband to be doesn't travel in the same circle as her ex so i don't think the bride will wear her tiara.
I'm sure she'll still wear it in the future where the dress code calls for it.

IMO she should return it to the Queen. She is no longer a princess, no longer a member of the Royal Family and, as the tiara is an heirloom piece, it belongs back in the royal vaults.

I hope Joachim shows up. It's the mother of his children who's getting married after all.
Congratualtions Martin and Alexandra !

i think she is allowed to keep her with her until her death, when it would return to the royal family, which i believe will happen. i doubt alexandra will return it (who would?) and i'm sure that's the queen's desire as well. she gave her a title for herself, they seem to have a close relationship and alexandra well served denmark for ten years... i'm sure the queen could easily have requested for her tiara back and alexandra would do so but she didn't, which is a lovely gesture from the queen.

Does anyone think Queen Margrethe will come or Henrik? I don't think so, but I'm curious.

Hofmarskal (Court marshall) Ove Ullerup has stated that it is personal property of mrs. Alexandra C. Jřrgensen, Countess Frederiksborg born Manley.

Private wedding
It is a private wedding held in the late afternoon. Media and press are not allowed on the wedding venue. So we will have to do it with snapshots of arriving and leaving guests and maybe an official photoshoot.

Dress looks lovely. Nikolai and Felix are escorting her. She's got a veil down her back.
Nikolai and Felix are wearing brown suits. And waving timidly to the press.
Alexandra isn't wearing a tiara.

I am not surprised Alex is not wearing a tiara. By all appearances she is moving on with her life, and wearing a tiara would seem odd and a reflection of her old life.

There aren't any cameras inside the church. The brief view I was refering to, was TV2 who appeared with a camera outside the church (along with oodles of photographers) to document the event.
Alexandra told the press: "I'll come out again after." So there will be more pictures.
