Countess Alexandra and Martin look completely happy and in love.

Personally speaking, I think her dress looks fantastic, and with her body: she is wearing the dress, the dress is not wearing her. I really hope I look that good when I'm her age. The off white, beaded champange colored gown looked amazing, and the veil compliments the ensemble. Does it really matter, in this day and age, whether a second time bride wears white and a veil? I don't believe so, in fact, it is quite the norm for many modern brides.

Futhermore, her jewels, whether they were indeed a gift from her ex-husband or not, are her private jewels. Essentially, she can wear and do anything she pleases.

Besides, they look great and complement the dress perfectly.
Whether the veil and the colour were appropriate or not - I wish her and her family the best of luck for this second marriage.

No, QUEENECE29, Mary and Frederik did not attend the wedding today. Fred had an engagement today, you can read more about it here.

Maybe she's sending the message that she's still held in favour by the royal family and hasn't completely cut ties with them. That necklace is such a reliable old standby that it isn't really surprising.

I really didn't think Alexandra looked as glamorous as she has done in the passed. Yes it was her new husband's first time but he was marrying someone who had been down the aisle before so that is irrelevant. I just thought she would wear a more sophisticated and not an actual bridal gown with veil the works. The makeup was a bit ott .....I am disappointed in the look but remember only IMO.

Somehow the dress itself doesn't surprise me at all, it's exactly what I expected, it looks like a dress she wore while married to Joachim, a couple of years back.

But that veil! Looks just weird on a woman her age, sorry. Overall though she looked gorgeous and yes, way better than for her first time down the isle.

Alexandera looked happy, like a first time bride. what i did not expect is for her to wear a white ( i know its not white-white, but even though) bridal gown, or in general a wedding gown.I thought she'd appear in a nice suit, never mind if its white, and a hat. Her hair was put up terribly. Her two little boys looked adorable, i wish them all the best.thank you for all the pictures.
Does anyone know if CP Mary attended?

No member of the Danish royal family has attended the wedding, except for Prince Nikolai and Prince Felix.

All the best to the newlyweds

She looks beautiful. But I thought that she wore sleeves and maybe not so long veil...
It looks like ivory or dark white (if it's possibe).

i think she looked amazing, so what if she wore a wedding dress with a veil she looked brilliant, it shouldnt matter what her age is or whether shes been married before its her wedding she can wear what she likes, no where does it she a middle aged women who has been married before cant wear a wedding dress or a veil. i hope when i marry i look half as good as her, i wish the two of them all the happiness there a very goodlooking couple.

I've posted sixteen new Avatars in the "Fanart, Wallpaper, and Avatars" thread in the Danish Forums, including one for the mods.

Before this, I never really realized exactly how much Martin looks like Andy Roddick-it is astounding.

A lovely wedding, and Martin and Alexandra seem really and truly in love.

I wasn't too keen on the suits the boys wore. And I thought her eye makeup was a little harsh (the eyeshadow looked white) for this lovely lady.

But I have to give Alexandra and Joachim credit, that they have generally behaved with dignity despite the hurt feelings that must have existed. (And good wishes to Alexandra.)
