On November 6th, 1919 Grand Duchess Charlotte of Luxembourg married Prince Felix of Bourbon Parma. Pope Benedict XV gave the necessary dispens needed due to their close relationship. Their mothers, Dowager Grand Duchess Marie Anne (Maria Ana) of Luxembourg and Princess Maria Antonia, were sisters. Charlotte and Felix married at the Cathedrale Notre-Dame in Luxembourg.
Grand Duchess Charlotte wore the Luxembourg Empire Tiara over her lace veil.

On November 6th, 1919 the civil wedding of Charlotte and Felix occurred. They were married by Mayor Housse at the Castle.
For the religious wedding Prince Felix's two brothers, Prince Sixtus and Prince Xavier of Bourbon-Parma were his two witnesses.
Prince Felix wore the sash of the Gold Lion of the House of Nassau. He also wore the stars of the Bourbon-Parmesan Constantinian Order of Saint George and the Royal Hungarian Order of Saint Stephen.
