D. Duarte Pio looks very much like his father and his young daughter Maria Francisca looks just like her grandmother and namesake.

Here is the TIME Magazine coverage of this wedding, some of the best details I've ever found and best pictures of this wedding. We can also see the aquamarine necklace and earrings given to the new Duchess as a wedding gift which are now worn by her daughter in law (most recently @ the return dinner of the King & Queen of Sweden on their last state visit to Portugal).

Princess Maria Francisca wore a gown of silver lamé with a long rich train of lace a hundred years old.
She was given away by her brother, Dom Pedro Gastao.

The First Lady D. Darcy Vargas and the Mayor of Rio de Janeiro and his wife Dr. and Mrs. Henrique Dodsworth attended the wedding.
