Astrid and Leopold on the balcony and a beautiful official portrait of the couple. On this pic you can see very well how young the bride was (she had only just turned 21).

Just a little remark. Leopold wasn't king yet when he married Astrid. He became king in 1934.

Yes there where 2 ceremonies. The civil Wedding on 04.11.1926 at the Hall of State at the Royal Palace at Stockholm. This is the one where AStrid wears the myrtle wreath. Then they travelled to Belgium and 10.11.1926 the religious marriage took place at the Cathedral of Brussels.

The civil wedding wasn't in Oslo, but in Stockholm

Astrid would have looked fantastic in a burlap sack. Leopold and Astrid made a truly striking couple though.
