Thank you so much for this link. It's surprising to see how much their grandchildren have grown! Lovely family.

Nice to see Princess Anita again after such along absence! And to state the obvious: how much all the grand children have grown since the last time we saw them. I have difficulties recognising most of them. Anna and Isabella must be going to secundairy school soon...

That, the Honorary Doctorate, but also because she is our "Canadian" Princess ofcourse, being born in Ottawa during WW II exile, she has a very strong bond with Canada and her 70th birthday was another reason for the dinner hosted by the Embassy .:)

Prince Bernhard, Prince Maurits and Prince Pieter-Christiaan participated in the first edition of the Hollandse 100 (the Dutch 100) in Biddinghuizen today, March 8.

The skating and cycling event was held to raise money for the foundation 'Lymph&Co', an initiative against lymph node cancer that was founded by Prince Bernhard.

Prof. Pieter van Vollenhoven proudly took some photos, Princess Annette was present as well:

Apparently they raised 213.000 Euros for research. Apart from Bernhard, also prince Maurits and Prince Pieter-Christiaan joined, as did a lot of other Dutch celebrities. Prof. Pieter van Vollenhoven, Pss Annette and her 3 children were also present at the event but did not participate.

More photos: here

According to the website Pss Margriet came later in the afternoon to ice skae with her grand children, but the visit was 'secret'.

Yes indeed , Princess Margriet and his Family are doing well. Thanks Iceflower.

Nice to see them there, prince Maurits and his two youngest children, Bernhard and Annette and Princess Margriet and Pieter. There were also some other familiar faces, Patrick Kluivert (former football player), a singer and the former minister of traffic / former CEO of KLM who was accused of physical abuse of his girlfriend and who was fired by KLM as he seldom showed up.

Beatrix is still practices Ski and Margriet Skating , very well for their ages.
