It is a good book Charlottestreasures & Alexandria - especially for those of us who can't read Dutch, but who like the Dutch RF. Unfortunately, I don't think there are too many books on the Dutch RF written in English.

There is another book relating to Margriet & Pieter and Canada. It is about their early 1970s visit with the Inuit of Northern Canada. But it's in Dutch!:(

Yes they wrote that themselves.
I found an old picture book on the Dutch Royal Family , ex-library book, but it was in a foreign language.

It is nice to have one in English, guess I will keep the one I found lately.

Margriet was in Amsterdam today to open a new center for training of OZW (healthcare). Shortly after her arrival she fell unwell and was taken to First Aid. They found nothing serious and she is back home.

Ah, that's too bad. I guess that explains why we weren't seeing any pictures from her visit. Hopefully it is just a little bout of the flu or something minor like that.

This jacket looks familiar. Did she wear it to Pieter-Christiaans civil wedding??
Agreed, good to see her again, and still very much involved with healthcare.

Good to see our Margriet again. Lovely jacket. I've seen it before too, but I don't recall when. :o

I like her relaxed and professional style, it's much less flamboyant than Her Majesty's

You have good memories for details Marengo & Maxima.:) I just checked & you're right, Margriet did wear this jacket at P-C & Anita's civil wedding.

Here's another picture from the official site http://www.koninklijkhuis.nl/index.jsp

It's kind of funny. On the BRMB Marianne explained that the balls symbolize blood donated by people. Being of "blue blood", Margriet was asked to add the blue ball.

Has the interview that Margriet recently gave about the work of the Red Cross in Africa has been shown on Dutch TV? If so, did anyone watch it?

Princess Margriet opened the Kulturhus “Noaberhuus” in Okkenbroek today.
The Kulturhus “Noaberhuus” is for the people in the country and is managed by disabled people.

According picture press europe that is. Here are some pictures from the same agency.

Margriet is really looking splendid today!

Great pictures Maxie! It's been so nice to see Margriet out & about so much this year. I think it was pretty well a year ago that she broke her tailbone & finally it looks like she's recovered. She looks great!

I agree with you, the princess just refuses to age :) ...and even does so in a natural way.
