The NOS broadcasted a special report and interview with the professor, in which he talked about his work for safe traffic, his parents, his brother, warm words about queen Juliana, etc etc. He was very open, relaxed and with a great sense of humor! In the end his wife came with a big bouquet of flowers.
His neighbours/gardener were interviewed, his sister-in-law, Geesje van Vollenhoven, several people who were helped by/ involved with the foundation victim help, the lady where he and his wife bought their dogs, 4 ex. prime ministers etc.
