I have played around with this picture to try and make the tiara look a little more like Sophie's new tiara. I hope you think I have been successful!

Default My Best Diamonds

I think the queen must really like Sophie. Maybe she thinks she's the last hope for her troubled family. The queen doesn't wear these too often.

could it be that this tiara www.theroyalforums.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=121035 which was worn at the pre wedding gala is a necklace transformed to a tiara, ans by the wedding she wore it as a necklace www.theroyalforums.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=121036 ? it is known that the countess received only one tiara at her wedding.

I agree the first tiara is a necklace modified on a frame (probably from the royal collection), while the second was her wedding tiara, which was a gift from the Queen.

Sophie was also recently given the Scroll Tiara as well as a diamond necklace, bracelet and earrings designed by Prince Philip as a gift from the Queen.

She wore the "new" tiara at the Danish wedding celebrations, May last year.

That's the one that looks like part of Princess Alice's tiara. It's very pretty, for being rather small. (I love flowers, so, almost anything flower-y will be liked by me in a tiara!)

I don't think that 'give' is the correct word. Both tiaras were 'loaned' to her by the Queen. And the other tiara was simply used so that she didn't have to wear the same tiara at both functions for the Danish Royal Wedding.

Hi,

Here is a photo from an engagement the Countess undertook last week it is an interesting necklace. But I can't make out any detail and such.

Can anyone ID this tiara? I never saw the Countess wear it before. This is from Prince Albert's enthronement in Monaco. From Getty Images.

I think this new Tiara with her own Wedding Tiara, and the one she wore at the Pre-Wedding Dinner of Prince Frederik, so they are totally 3, but i don't know if The Countess has some other tiaras or not. But this time , i really have to say The Countess looks really regal and elegant! Its a lovely Tiara, she has just worn it for the first time onthe Diplomatic Reception on Wednesday, i read on GREMB, maybe The Queen has just given out some more Tiaras for other ladies in her family.

Warren must be in absolute transports of Joy!!! Four new tiaras in one month.

This one looks to be new, I wonder if Edward has designed it for Sophie and had it made up using the remnants of the Aquamarine Tiara from Princess Andrew that Sophie wore to the Danish Pre Wedding Gala?

This is a lovely tiara!! Much more better than her wedding one.

Oh and it seems the Countess has received a new order, the Royal order of Victoria something. This makes the Countess more like a royal now. The order really matches her lovely dress.

I dun think so Puppy , cause i think the Countess just received the Dame of the Most Venerable Order of St.John of Jerusalem at the beginning of November and its the Order of St John of Jerusalem i think so, not the Royal Victorian Order.
