She reminds me of the era of Gloria Swanson.

Thanks for the photos!
The snake necklace is a stunning piece. The two diamonds are huge. Bigger pieces of jewellery do not overwhelm Sheikha Mozah's ensembles.

I would think that the 2 diamonds are removable and can be worn on a chain or as earring studs. WOuld be a waste if youcant use them as anything else (stuck on the necklace).

They'd be the size of your ear if you wore them as studs! Its a stunning necklace, somehow avoids being vulgar and tacky imo. This necklace makes up for any tiara! Has the sheika ever worn a tiara?

Sheika Moza rarely wears any jewels in her day to day functions at Doha, Qatar.
Old school Muslim ladies don't show their hair and that's why she doesn't wear a tiara, but wearing a tiara will bring a new problem, since she is wife no. 2 of the Emir, and there is still wife no.1 effectively still married to the Emir before her and wife no. 3 effectively still married to the Emir after her, it will be confusing!

LOL I wonder if he has his own palace and they each have their own so he can have some peace in his life. As we all know sometimes jewels are not always the answer. Not that they do not help of course!

Sheikha Mozah is the "public wife" of the Emir (just as Princess Haya is the "public wife" of Sheikh Mohammed of Dubai) and has a high-profile role in Qatari government and society. She has her own website.

Such an elegant and classy lady. I am sure she is a tremendous asset to her country. Her jewels were beautiful. I loved the draped necklace she wore to the dinner at Windsor Castle.

Wonderful jewels! If only I had something like them for everyday wear! :) And the turbans are very interesting - at least she can rock them. Do you think she and her husband brought any goodies for the British Royal jewelry box?

Otherwise she could not even afford one of the two big diamonds of this necklace!! All these pieces are gorgeous. I like her long ethnic earrings, very beautiful!

Mozah wears really great jewelery. I love her snake necklace. She doesn't look too much in her jewelery.
I've just read article posted by dazzling and I wonder what boots they are talking about. I wish they included a pic.
