The Emir (like any Muslim man effectively married to more than 1 wife at the same time) chooses any of his wives that HE thinks is better for the job he needs at the particular moment, he lives alone in his palace and each wife (with her children) has her own residential palace, that he had offer her, and he makes the visits to each one,
About Sheika Moza, she is the only out of his 3 wives that is very modern educated (in comparison to his 2 others wives), Sheika Moza was raised and educated in Kuwait city, and she is very active, so she has left the others light years behind, now if the other 2 wives start doing the same, the competition would be fierce, and think he will need a help choosing which wife he will use for what escort job.

S Mozah just blows me away with her clothes and jewels, she is so gorgeous!!
About the snake necklace, this is a very special one of a kind made by Cartier about 10 years ago, those huge diamonds can be removed and there are emeralds that big(YES OMG) that can also fit. This was written about extensively in Town and Country at the time as well as some other jewelry mags, because Cartier had been holding the emeralds for some time while thinking for a design for them. I will look up my archives to see if I can find the original article.........Just breathtaking!!!!
I knew it sold then but they never revealed who too....!!!!!!

Just do a Google images search under "Cartier diamond and emerald snake necklace" and you'll find a picture of what you're looking for.

Was this necklace custom made for Mozah? I like sheikha's version of this necklace better.

I dont think it was made specifically for her but its the same necklace. The emerald beads come off as do the huge emeralds that Mozah has exchanged for diamonds!..............INCREDIBLE

I think even without the two big diamonds, or with the emeralds, on Sheikah Moza, it will be very beautiful, because she has an elegant air to wear the necklace: with the two big diamonds or without, with emeralds or without!

She is very elegant in her day to day appearance here in Doha, Qatar, even with the normal Arabic dress, that is a black robe on top of other cloths inside, she has small details to her abbayah, that you can spot her elegance miles away, plus she definitely knows how to stand with long dresses, giving her a dreamy effortless from-the-inside elegance, more, she know how to hold her head with the different types of shilas (head scarves), this situation needs a lot of exercise, determination and knowing where and what you do.

It's hard to believe that S.M. has delivered 7 children. My Grandmother had 9 children by the time she was 39 (2 sets of twins) and she did not look like S.M.!!! The family has 27 children from 3 wives. Sheikahs #1 and #3 must be totally worn out!!!

I agree. That necklace is so well designed that interchangeable gems and some rare Mabe pearls (a set in black and a set in white, or one of each) would be stunning. Anyone know when it was made? It looks so contemporary.
If you want a glimpse of S.M. and the Emir, visit here:

Although her husband is the purse of Al Jazeerah, they appear to be doing much for their citizens.

If you see her in reality, she is like a model, but she practices a lot of swiming, plus her daily latest beauty routine.

Until now haven't seen her with Amethysts and Opals, also it is very nice on her the Emeralds as the green coulour is a beauty color in Arabia and the Muslim world, where it is normal to see wedding gowns in Emerald green color!

Shirin, thanks a lot for all the info you provided here! Especially your post about the abbayah and the other head scarves is very interesting. And you're right, I'd love to see her wear emeralds too! That would be something outstanding to watch.
