Does anyone have a good photo of Princess Astrid of Belgium's engagement ring? There are two copies of the same picture on this thread but it is a side shot and I am wondering if there are any better photos? Thanks for any help.

I think Mary of Denmark's engagement ring is lovely as I hate huge gaudy rings e.g Diana's, Camilla's etc. However I dislike wedding bands that are covered in diamonds as I think they look tacky so I'm not a fan of her wedding ring. I think you can't beat a simple traditional gold band and think one of these would have looked so much more tasteful with her engagement ring.

I suppose I like very much Clotilde Courau’s ring. It’s very romantic and beautiful either. I think I would list all of the rings I like very much in the following order:
  • Clotilde’s ring
  • Mathilde’s ring
  • Princess Anne’s ring
  • Lady Diana’s ring
  • Camilla’s ring
  • Princess Farah’s ring
  • Grace Kelly’s ring
  • Lady Sarah Chatto’s ring
  • Sarah Ferguson’s ring
  • Maxima’s ring
  • Mette-Marit’s ring
  • Marie-Chantal’s ring
My family got a ring, which is almost identical to Diana’s ring (at least I couldn’t find any differences). It has belonged to my family for many generations.
And we also owe rings that are really alike Mette-Marit’s ring, Sarah Ferguson’s ring, Maxima’s ring and Marie-Chantal’s ring (the latter is identical). They all belonged to our family for many years except for the ring that resemblance Sarah’s ring.

Cristina's ring and Letizia's ring are alike, I think is because both are practical women who like to do their own things so a big rock would get in the way!!

Does Letizia just have a band or was that also her engagement ring? Also, is is it a custom to wear wedding rings on the right hand in some countries, because I noticed Letizia was wearing hers on her left and I think I noticed a couple of other royals doing the same thing. Thanks!

Letizia uses her engagement ring on the left hand and her wedding band on the right. (On the wedding ceremony, they put the bands on each other's right fingers, Felipe now uses his on the left, but Letizia keeps hers on the right)
