i have only seen it recently, on the malaysian jewels thread and i just love it! it's not as over-the-top as the other emerald sets but it is my favorite (for now).

I'm not sure if this is an actual piece of Royal jewellry or just borrowed, but I love the emerald tiara Rania wore on the Swedish visit:

Queen Rania Jewellery 2: June 2005-October 2008
If you scroll down the page to #90 you can see the pictures of this gorgeous emerald tiara.

I think they are kept in the vaults of the Central Bank in Teheran.

Question Display

Do you know if they are ever put out on display for the general public? Did the Iranian Royals get to to some of their jewels with them after they fled?

Thank you for all your time and help, Gita. :)

Queen Elizabeth has a staggeringly beautiful parure of tiara, earrings, brooch, and bracelet ( the "Cambridge" emeralds) . Even though the gems came from several different sources the settings are fantastic. Definitely one of my all-time favorite royal jewels. Not to take anything away from the Iranian jewels-they are equally stunning.:)

Queen Sonja of Norway wears her Emerald tiara and jewelry a lot, I guess she really likes it :) It is a very pretty set but I'm not so sure about the big square emerald at the top, it kinda looks out of place to me. But it is a beautiful set!

Heres a pic

Here is the emerald and diamond necklace which forms part of Queen Mary's emerald parure.
