Here are all the tiaras Queen Silvia has worn at the Nobel Prizes that was posted shortly before the 2011 Nobel Prizes:

1970's
1980's
1990's
2000's
2010

She then wore the Nine Prong Tiara last year.

I think she will wear the Leuchtenberg tiara this year.

I think what tiara she have depends on what dress she wear, Maybe the grey dress from the statevisit in netherlands that color works with several tiaras.

Great to see the sapphire parure again. It works excellently with her dress. I'm glad that there aren't any prongs tonight, I'm bored by seeing that one so often.

The Royal Order of Sartorial Splendor: My Ultimate Tiara Collection: Queen Josephine’s Amethyst Tiara

This is one of my least favorite tiaras in the SRF. Though the amethysts are stunning, the design does not appeal to me. The placement of the tiara can be complicated and that's one of the flaws of the tiara. However, I do love the necklace, the brooch, and the earrings. They are stunning!

Don't forget Princess Birgitta, Boris. She wore the 6-Button to the King's 60th birthday celebrations. That makes five living Swedish royal women who have worn that tiara.

Here's who has worn the others:

Baden Fringe - Silvia, Lillian, Victoria, Desiree, Christina.
Braganca Diamond - Silvia (I think only the queen may wear this one).
Connaught Forget-Me-Not - Silvia, Desiree, Christina.
Aquamarine Bandeau - Madeleine, Silvia, Christina.
4-Button-Victoria, Margaretha, Birgitta, Desiree, Christina.
Cameo Tiara-Silvia, Birgitta, Desiree. (maybe soon Victoria, Madeleine, & Emma?)
King Carl XVI Gustaf Fringe-Silvia, Madeleine, Victoria (only as a necklace).
King Edward VII Ruby-Silvia, Countess Marianne Bernadotte (as a necklace).
Leuchtenberg Sapphire-Silvia, Birgitta.
Napoleonic Cut-Steel - Silvia, Christina, Victoria.
Queen Josephine's Amethysts-Silvia, Victoria, Christina, Margaretha.
Queen Louise's Diamond Tiara-Desiree, Margaretha, Christina.
Queen Sophie's Nine-Prong-Silvia, Lillian, Margaretha.

I'm pretty sure I didn't miss anyone, unless someone is still alive that I am unaware of.

I always thought the Amethyst Tiara would look better as a necklace since it doesn't have the peaks and festoons that one normally sees in a conventional tiara. I also hate the mount it's on; it reminds me of a wire fence. Nevertheless, the stones are stunning and I thought it looked great on Madeleine at the Nobel ceremony; I like the hairband effect.

The pink topaz set really is stunning! Here is a photo of Queen Silvia wearing the brooch in her hair.

I'm not sure if it would look beautiful. The three pendants on the front would give it a rather unfinished look and without the pendants you would get something like that family's amethyst tiara (which I personally have mixed feelings about).

Now that I think about it, if the color of the stones match well enough this demi-parure might go well with that pink tourmaline tiara the SRF was rumored to have brought back.

The brooch in the hair is a little odd looking. I don't know if its the positioning of it or if its simply the size of it on her head compared to her head itself. The topaz set is by far one of my favorites in the Bernadotte collection!

I was thinking perhaps there could be a way to make those stand as they are a bit odd, however, I still think that if there was a way to make it work that it would stunning!

I too have mixed feelings about the amethyst tiana.

While I give Silvia credit for her innovative use of jewels, I don't like the topaz brooch perched on her topknot like that. It's too affected a look for me. Nevertheless, this suite is magnificent.

Is there anyone if you on here who is open go the challenge of doing the Topaz Parure (spelling) as a tiara on either Hm Queen Silvia or either CP Victoria and or Madeline. I would love to see what it might look like as a tiara and unfortunately my efforts have come up empty due to not being able to have photo shop and iPhoto not doing anything of that nature.

Magpie Monday: Bernadotte Emerald Demi-Parure « Fashionably Royal

What a breathtaking demi-parure. That shade of green is gorgeous. This demi-parure is simply timeless and exquisite! This is definitely one of my favorite pieces of royal jewellery.
