Yes, in did it is. I read that the person that wear that stone is protect. But is a rare stone, and normally pass the generation in generation. The spanish royal famelly have one to, but give the oposite. It semes that he bring everything excepet look. So they lock the ring and no1 wear him.

Personally,i don't believe in power of stones:) !One should feel itself insecure and tenuous minded to put it destiny between hands of talismans, charms and stones! |

I dont think I've seen Princesses Rym or Alia al-Faisal wear one either. Perhaps only the spouses of the King and crown prince are meant to wear it? Princess Noor was still Crown Princess in 2003 when she wore her turqoise ring. Im just guessing though...who knows what the real story behind all of this is. Still, I find it all very interesting. |

I don't believe that wearing this kind of stones is related to something with being the spouse of the king,i saw one pictures where P.haya(who is not a king's wife) wearing a pendant and ring with the some kind of stone, and other Sheick Mo.seems to be converted to that,he him self was wearing a pendant of turquoise !So i think they are superstitious in the JRF and believe in jalousy around them as said rania in one of her interviews |

Also, with a few exceptions, most other women of the JRF royal family dont wear symbolic jewels, atleast not the turqoise. That includes Princesses Iman, Raiyah, Basma, Alia, Ayesha Zein etc. If the JRF does seem to have particular jewels of special significance, they're not alone. The Bruneian royal women wear similar green jade bracelets. Most royal families have symbolic traditions like that. Although not all of them manifest themselves in terms of jewellery. |

I've noticed that when Rania goes abroad, she tends to wear the same pieces of jewellery on each specific trip, rather than wearing many different pieces.
The first three pics are from her visit to the US in October 2003 The last picture is from later that same month, she's wearing the same necklace. |
