No, the public does not know. Queen Fabiola did leave her possessions to a foundation. But it is not exactly known if that includes all her jewels or not. At least many royal watchers think that some of the jewels can be with Mathild nowadays. But Mathilde has not worn any since Fabiola died.

Yes indeed, those were Fabiola's fabulous earrings alright!

I'm holding out hope that there's more where that came from...I hope Mathilde and Princess Elisabeth inherited her tiaras as well!! In fact those earrings are part of a set of incredible emeralds that Fabiola is wearing around her neck in that photo.

Those earrings were gifts from Fabiola to Mathilde, she also wore them during the Dutch inauguration festivities. And yet again we are not sure of whereabouts of Fabiola's Jewels.

I liked the diadem worn as a bandeau. It only did not glitter so much as many other diadems around her. Maybe it is a result of little stones set pavé in a tight frame, so no chance to sparkle.

Indeed. The same with the Waterfall Brooch, or the jewels which were worn by Princess Margaretha von und zu Liechtenstein, all were gifts during Queen Fabiola's lifetime. Possibly she has given the Spanish Wedding Gift Diadem and the Wolfers Diamond Collier to Mathilde as well. We can only wait and see...

They are a creation by Manalys, Brussels and come with a matching necklace Mathilde has worn in Monaco also.

I suspect they belong to one of the d'Udekem sisters since they were also worn by Mathilde's sister Hélène during her civil wedding.

I don’t recall her having worn these earrings before and I think she wears them for the first time in public but I could be wrong. Mathilde has worn very similar earrings though which were made by Wolfers IIRC. E.g. on occasion of Maximas 40th birthday celebrations or 2011 in London for the pre-wedding dinner.
