In Queen Fabiola's jewel's thread you could find some info about it.

Her inheritance isn't still settled,so her Spanish tiara(previously owned by Dukes of Medinaceli) in particular is still waiting for a new owner.

It is suspected that her inheritance will be settled in weeks,as they say.

RTL INFO 19H (18 janvier 2016)

Here is a link(if you understand French-starting 31:54 until about 34:00min.) where they speak about her inheritance and Spanish tiara, among other things they also mention the famous story about those fake red and green stones which we have discussed earlier.

I was happy to see queen Mathilde wearing the Laurel Wreath Tiara as a tiara last night, personally I don't think it works well as a necklace.

I always used to like this tiara, and I'm glad to see it again. But somehow it looked a bit odd yesterday. Maybe it is just the hair style? At the RJOTWMB someone mentioned that the base might have been lowered. But I think that the base has never been really high. So I don't know what to think. Let's hope that there will be some better pics without watermark.

I love this tiara. It's very elegant and timeless. A beautiful design.

The Wolfers tiara looks much better like this on Mathilde. Not worn so much behind on the head like in Poland.

Don't ask me why - but I really really like this tiara. For me it is quite modern although I think it originates from the 60ies? I think it is an easy tiara to wear - but still substantial.

Queen Mathilde appears to be wearing the bandeau of the Nine Provinces Tiara tonight at the banquet during the state visit from Jordan.

Yes, the tiara was a wedding gift from the people of Belgium to Fabiola. Her and Baudouin married in December 1960. She of course also received the Spanish wedding gift tiara from Franco.

It used to be common. The nine provinces tiara was a wedding gift from the people of Belgium to Astrid for her wedding. She also received the Pearl Stockholm wedding tiara from her own country for her wedding.
