I'm almost certain that QAlexandra was the last who wore the Rundell tiara, as she died in 1925, there are more than 83 years that it was not seen!

Thanks for that wonderful link Jcbcode, it's a wonderful tiara, I just never heard it called that before. The link provided a wonderful photo of the Dagmar necklace, so beautiful. Thanks again.

The Rundell is a lovely tiara, but I doubt it would suit Camilla given her hairstyle. It would probably suit somebody younger, perhaps William's wife. I am sure the Queen has already put aside suitable pieces of jewellery for all the Windsor grandchildren

Hello to all---
I was over on the Royal Jewels of the World and Baxter discoverd a little known video and was able to freeze a frame and post both the pic and the video--it contains a tiara of the Queen Mother's that was is not known to many of us! It is a geometric tiara and the buzz is that it could be the mystery tiara of Princess Anne's!
Here is the link to the RJOTW; watch it now because it will disappear soon!

I think it may very well be Anne's mystery tiara! Too bad we don't have a better picture of Anne wearing it. How does anyone know that blurry tiara didn't have a geometric pattern as stated on the RFOTW website? Personally I couldn't make out any details of Anne's tiara in the photo we have posted here at TRF.

Cat

After posting this I hopped over to Anne' Jewelry thread and did a split screen of the two images. I'm still not sure but there is one major point of difference in the two tiaras, at least that I can see.

Boffer at the RJOTW message board has created a border this month containing a rare clear photo of HM The Queen Mother wearing the Teck Circle as a tiara if anyone is interested in seeing it.

You've got to love Boffer!
The Teck Circle is one of my favorite pieces; in the closeups of Margaret wearing it the necklace is really mesmerizing; I"ve wondered if in fact the collets in the center were actually a detachable riviere--I seem to recall that Margaret sometimes wore two; one was Queen Mary's but it was sold at auction (that still breaks my heart).
Interestingly, I've not seen any photos that show that Queen Mary ever wore the Teck Circle piece, though. That has always struck me as odd considering how sentimental she was about family pieces.
Here's a great photo of the piece worn by Princess Margaret as a necklace:

Lovely Janet! The Teck Circle Tiara/Necklace is one of my favorite pieces. I would love to see someone trot it out. Hint Hint!!!

I am sure it would look stunning on Camilla but I think Queen Alexandra would turn (and probably spin round) in her grave, knowing what HM thought of Mrs Keppel.

I donīt think that anyone in the royal family has looked so stunning in jewellery as the beautiful Princess Margaret. This photograph is exquisite.
