Again, it would be divine as a tiara. I can wear it 24/7 a day if it is too much trouble for the ladies of the BRF...

Such a stunning and classic necklace! This beautiful necklace is one of my favorites from the Queen.
I think this makes such a wonderful pairing with the GGBI tiara; a glittery yet light piece. It's such a delicate yet substantial design and I love the different cut diamonds. This has got to be my favorite necklace.

Lovely necklace, indeed!

Was this the one Sophie wore to Victoria's wedding in Stockholm in 2010?

From Her Majesty's Jewel Vault: The Diamond Pear-Shaped Pendant Fringe Necklace

Another one of my favorites from the Queen! This necklace has such an exquisite and timeless look and I simply love those pear-shaped diamond pendants!

Do I now have to revise my favorite necklace with the appearance of this pendant fringe one? This is also along the lines of the King Khalid necklace: sparkly, lightweight yet loaded with exquisite pear diamonds. Just gorgeous! Any time HM feels she has a surplus of these necklaces, she can always gift one to me!

Some of the Queen's necklace's would look great converted into small tiara's for the younger royal women, like Kate or Princess Beatrice. Heck, I'd rather see Countess Sophie in a converted necklace than that God awful wedding tiara she received.

No, it isn't. And it's also not the King Khalid Necklace.
The necklace Sophie wore is a bit of a mystery piece to me; I don't think I have seen it before (certainly not on Sophie).

January 26 was the day the famous Cullinan Diamond was found.
A look at the nine numbered Cullinan diamonds:

Cullinan I (set in the Sovereign's Sceptre with Cross)
Cullinan II (set in the Imperial State Crown)
Cullinan III and IV Brooch (Granny's Chips)
Cullinan V Brooch (The Heart-Shaped Diamond)
Cullinan VI and VIII Brooch
Cullinan VII (hanging as a pendant from the Delhi Durbar Necklace)
Cullinan IX (set into a platinum ring)

History of the Cullinan stone.

Those matching earrings and bracelet are certainly a sight to see as well. Incredible jewels and the color is just divine. Just to have one of those sapphires in its diamond setting as a pendant would make me happy.

I wonder if it could ever be used as a tiara?

I think The Teck Circle Necklace is very nice. It can also be worn as a tiara:

I'm hoping she will pass this necklace down to The Duchess of Cambridge. Also with The Teck Crescent Tiara:

The Teck Circle neckalce is now with the Linley family, having previously been used by Princess Margaret. I suspect that it has now left the main line of the BRF for good, and unfortunately, will probably next be seen when it is auctioned off.

I am afraid it's more or less inevitable. The Linleys aren't going to attend all that many tiara events bar from a Coronation so sooner or later most of the historical pieces will become useless and will be sold from auctions.

The Queen's County of Cornwal Ruby Bracelet
Quote:
This bracelet is one of the many jewels the Queen has inherited from her grandmother, Queen Mary. It is made of diamond and ruby leaf bands with a diamond and ruby rose centre; the rose is detachable and can be worn separately as a brooch or pendant. Although popularly known as the Country of Cornwall Bracelet, there is some confusion about its provenance.

The Teck jewels weren't sold but returned to The Queen. I have been told on these forums that Camilla have them but she don't wear them. Only the other jewels of The Queen Mothers.

Not all the Teck jewels aren't on loan to Camilla - just the Teck Crescent Tiara which she is yet to début.
The necklace is definitely with the Linleys.

According to the "Queen's diamonds" by Hugh Roberts the tiara is with the Duchess of Cornwall and the necklace with Viscount Linley. But both have not been worn in public.
Wonder where the persian turqiose parure is which was also worn by Princess Margaret.
