I was recently reading the latest issue of Majesty magazine, and I saw the Queen was wearing a demi parure of sapphires I have never seen before in Canada. The necklace was in large loop design with huge sapphires fitted in the large loops. Was this a gift from an Arab Royal Family?

The necklace was originally posted in the "Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip: Official Visit to Canada" thread in May. Although not a "new" necklace and has apparently been worn before, it certainly stirred up some interest in various Royal and Royal Jewellery boards across the internet.
