From Her Majesty's Jewel Vault: The Delhi Durbar Stomacher and Scroll Cambridge Emerald Brooch

One of my favorite brooches! Just classically beautiful. The stomacher is also stunning.

I prefer the brooch as well, though the stomacher is magnificent.

From Her Majesty's Jewel Vault: The Round Cambridge Emerald Brooch

The design of this brooch is very elegant and classic. A very magnificent brooch.

Another gorgeous Cambridge brooch. I wonder if the emerald drops are detachable.

I have seen her wear it several times, and each time it doesn't get any better for me. I think on Catherine, it would be more age appropriate. It just doesn't look age appropriate for HM. Sorry if I offend.

The emerald drop attached to the round brooch was not from the original source and was a gift to the Duchess of Teck from her Father. I attach a photo from the Queen's visit to Ireland when she wore the brooch without its pendant. The photo appeared in the Telegraph

I was referring to the Diamond Jubilee broach certainly not the emeralds.

Could you please provide the source of information where you read this?

QE2's amethyst and pearl / diamond brooch made another appearance today when HM inaugurated the Royal London Hospital in East London today.

I do love the amethyst thistle brooch! And the Queen's brooches are what got me addicted to TRF in the first place!

Queen Elizabeth II Holds A Audience With The Queens Gold

Would any of our resident experts have a view on what brooch HM might be wearing in the picture when she presented John Agard a gold medal for poetry at BP today?

More pics (though hardly better!) below:

It's a ruby brooch surrounded by diamonds - similar in style to the Prince Albert Sapphire brooch.

That's lovely, but for me nothing beats the Williamson Diamond brooch as far as floral designs. That pink diamond is just luscious!
