Thread started for ~*~Humera~*~ who is having problems starting new threads.

I'm sure that she has many great contributions in mind for this thread already!

Thanx for helping out Alexandria:)
I promised one of the members I'd start this thread weeks ago, so sorry about the wait.

Gandik Diraja
(The Royal Tiara)
The Gandik Diraja or Royal Tiara is the head-dress of Her Majesty Seri Paduka Baginda Raja Permaisuri Agong. It is made of platinum and encrusted with diamonds in the traditional 'awan larat' motif. A crescent and a star (Islamic symbols) made of platinum are set in the centre of the tiara. The tiara is worn by Her Majesty on royal ceremonial occasions and during the installation of His Majesty Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong. The tiara is specially designed so that it can be taken apart to form a locket and brooches.
From the official Malaysian Monarchy website

The diamond and platinum tiara is made by Garrard.

Kalung Diraja
(The Royal Necklace)
The Kalung Diraja is the Royal Necklace worn by Her Majesty the Raja Permaisuri Agong. It is made of platinum and studded with diamonds. The necklace is part of Her Majesty's regalia worn during royal ceremonies and during the installation of His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong. Like the tiara, the necklace can also be taken apart and converted into a pair of earrings, brooches and ear ornaments.

I didn't know before that many of south east Asian royals have gorgeous jewelries, some of the jewels even more stunning than the one belongs to European royal family:)

More Please

I guess the rule is... always leave them wanting more.

Another great job ~*~Humera~*~, showing us things we would normally very rarely see, and appreciate.

I hope it goes well too.
I'll be done tomorrow morning at 11 and once I get back home I'll be posting the rest of the pics

More pictures.
I wish I didnt have to chop up these pics but it would be impossible for me to post close-ups without doing so. The originals are way too big, but I've reduced them in size and posted them too.

Thank you so much, Humera for the pictures of the jewelleries of Malaysian royalties. Those are awesome and great effort as well.

It is my pleasure to help you to add some more glitter to this thread.
