Definately, don´t worry..... it just needs a little while. I hope for this year either, but more realistically this will happen, when:
- Spain is out of the economic crisis, and/or
- there is a more important State Visit (i.e. from a Hispaniolic country or another Reigning House) and/or
- I still hope (but do not really beleive it) for the wedding of Albert & Charlene.

Bine: For this year? I don't think I can wait that long. lol It's almost been a year since it was purchased right?
Btw, any idea what the chances are for a black tie even with tiaras at the pre-wedding of C&A? (For some reason, I'm under the impression that it would be a hat affair...)

I can't wait either! But I don't think that the SRF gives a thing about our impatience! They keep toning down their tiara appearances without thinking about the frustration this causes to me !
Both the civil and religious ceremony in Monaco are scheduled at 17 pm. I think that is too late for hats to be worn, but I'm not sure about the protocol. At least for the concert after the civil ceremony and the dinner/ball after the religious ceremony I expect evening dresses. And if tiaras will be worn that will make my day and a perfect setting for Letizia's new tiara. But I will prepare myself to be disappointed .

Ok, so since Princesses Charlene and Claire are supporting new tiaras, I think it is time for Pricess Letizia to take hers out for a ride and give us the look we WAITING to see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

Agreed. It's been almost two years since we heard about it. If this thing goes on being MIA I'll start to doubt its existence.

Are there any tiara event on the horizon for Letizia? I think it has to be big given the financial situation in Spain right now. The tiara has to make a special debut rather than any ole event.

La Peregrina will be sold at auction in Dec. Last time it went for auction, in 1969, Richard Burton outbid the Spanish Royal Family to obtain it for Elizabeth Taylor. Perhaps this time the SRF will have better luck, and it will end up belonging to Letizia!

It would be nice if it found its way back to the Spanish Royal Jewel Chest, doubt it will happen given the economic crisis in Spain.
Plus given Letizia's aversion to jewellery she'd probably never wear it
