What a beautiful and different from the usual bow brooch.
And of course, this jewel unfortunately no longer exists since it was sold by the descendants of Princess.

I hope it still exists and that it was not dismantled by the new owners.

You never know where will it end it's journey in the future.

Here's a little more information on the magnificent diamond bow brooch.

I have just found this photo of duchess of Kent at gala event in Queen Mary bandeau tiara and unknown diamond necklace. Do you recognize it? Maybe it is part of princess Marina inheritance or diamond pearl serpent tiara necklace???

To me, the necklace looks like a fringe
, possibly the tiara used now by Princess Michael

Is this an heirloom necklace that Katharine Duchess of Kent is wearing?

The fringe tiara worn by Princess Michael is, to my knowledge, not convertible.

The fringe tiara (pearl and diamond) worn by Katherine has never been seen AFAIK as a necklace so not sure if convertible. The other Kent fringe, the city of London fringe which was a wedding gift to Marina and now worn by Princess Michael, cannot be worn as a necklace.

The pearl tiara which you mean was made with the diamonds from the bandeau tiara that the Duchess wears on that picture in question. So it can't be the same she wears as a necklace. Besides I agree that it has never been seen as a necklace and probably is not convertible.

A lovely picture of the Duchess of Kent at William and Catherine's wedding in 2011. She is wearing a pearl cross necklace that I have not seen before, it looks modern in design. Does anyone know its provenance and has it been worn before or since?

Ooooh...That *is* lovely. I don't remember seeing it before, but we see the Duchess so rarely these days, who really knows?

It was lovely to see her at the Wedding. Miss her at Wimbledon.

Not my favorite, then again not big fan of pearl tiaras. But besides I love the craftsmanship. Much nicer than their other pearl, the fringe.

I find myself liking Alexandra's. Its unique

Artemisia's Royal Jewels: Focus on... Kent Jewels: Princess Alexandra’s Tiara & Parure

I love their sapphire and the aquamarine in original form. They have a stunning collection.

True. What is espcially horrible at the new button-tiara is the very visible frame.

In this link, Princess Michael is wearing the Festoon tiara at the Albanian royal wedding:

This Week in Royal Tiaras: October 7-13 | The Court Jeweller

I love this tiara. I think it's been a long time since it's last been seen.
