Princess Sumaya is wearing a very lovely tiara. Does anyone know anything about its origins?

Also, which tiara is Princess Basma's daughter, Farah, wearing at her wedding? It's stunning!

Let's please stay on the topic of jewels.
Here is a lovely tiara worn by Princess Basma. Anyone know if it is used anymore? It's from Danjel's lovely site (http://groups.msn.com/RoyaltyDanjel3/jorfiryalw.msnw) Princess Firyal also wore a beautiful tiara....

You are welcome. From the same mother princess muna or Elisabeth gardner, the 2nd wife of KH., he have one brother faisal, and two twin sisters. From the 1st wife, dina abdulhameed, of his father KH, one sister alia. From the 3d wife, alia toukan, of his father KH, one sister haya and one brother ali. From the 4th wife ,of his father K.Hussein, queen Noor or liz halaby, two brothers hamzah and hashem, and two sisters iman and rayah. So he have four brothers and six sisters! You can see all those less knowen members of the JRF especially the women on this thread wearing their jewels! Last edited by Monalisa; 02-04-2005 at 11:58 AM. |

I know it is tempting to chat about the royals themselves but in order for the thread to stay open we must stay on topic.

I believe royals wear tiara most of the time in gala dinners while they are in state visits ... so that's why we saw most of the time only Jordanian' queens/princess muna wore tiaras (basma did as well) ... and logicaly on of their daughters will own the tiara. |

Her mother's tiara is quite lovely and I am sure it would have suited her nicely. Perhaps it didn't work with the wedding gown(gorgeous gown, btw!)??
