The late Donna Alessandra (Sandra) Torlonia daughter of Infanta Beatriz of Spain and cousin of King Juan Carlos wearing jewels belonging to Queen Victoria Eugenie which must have been inherited by the Infanta.

Doña Simoneta Gómez Acebo inherited a favourite bow brooch that belonged to her grandmother queen Victoria Eugenia .

The brooch minus the large pearl passed from queen Victoria Eugenia to the Countess of Barcelona who passed it to her granddaughter Doña Simoneta the eldest child of the late Infanta Pilar.

The Chaumet spike tiara was so stunning, unfortunately it no longer is in their possession. All the jewels of Queen Isabel were so grand and stunning but unfortunately much was sold for funding her life in exile.

The Chaumet Spike Tiara would have been a beautiful tiara for Princess Leonor to wear.

The Chaumet diamond Tiara was really a queen's tiara and would have really suited Queen Sofia or Queen Letizia!

The Niarchos Rubies are beautiful but never worked as a Tiara ,what will happen to them after Queen Sofia!

It can be passed on as a ruby set, together with Queen Sofia's other emerald and sapphire demi-parures. Hopefully all 3 will be left to the main line, as both Infanta Elena and Infanta Cristina have no need for grand jewels.

Queen Sofia's sapphire demi-parure can also be converted into a full parure if King Felipe VI buys back the small sapphire tiara that belonged to his grandmother and then to his late aunt, Infanta Pilar.

The small sapphire tiara of the late Infanta Pilar would bea wonderful addition to the Spanish Jewel chest but there's no word as yet on its ownership.

The sapphire tiara nows belongs to Infanta Pilar's children. Unfortunatly, the Countess of Barcelona left a lot of historical jewls to her daugthers and grandaugthers, including some ''joyas de pasar''. And it would be difficult to the king to buy them all, or at least controversial.

Nobody really knows what will happen with Sofía's jwels in the future. She said on a interview that the jewls are on Zarzuela's vaults to be used by the one who needs them.
And she has A LOT. For example, like 9 or 10 diamond demi parures, 5 or 6 ruby demi parures, and more than 100 brooches.
Many people have been speculated that she will create her own ''joyas de pasar'', including her significative jewls, like the emeral demi parure given by Juan Carlos and used in Felipe's wedding, her weddigd diamond demi parure and tiara (all already used by Letizia). Or others will go directly to Leonor. And she could left to her daugthers the less historically important, but not less valuable jewls.
But is all speculation!

Queen Sofia has the better jewel collection and hopefully it will kept in the family.

There are many pieces we have not seen Letizia wear and we may not given her apparent disdain for jewelry.

The Countess of Barcelona’s Pearl Brooch has passed from the late Countess to Queen Sofia and Queen Letizia has also worn it too.

About Queen Sofia's sapphires that you mentioned, as others inportant earrings/bracelets seen on her, it's possible that they have a necklace to complete the demi parure, like almost all middle east gifts.
And there're several pices used by Sofía a lot in the '60s and '70s that haven't seen the ligth of the day in decades...
So yes, Sofía's collection is huge.

But I think the sad thing about the Spanish collection is that several of the historical pices had been lost. If you look at the photo of the wedding presents given to the countess of Barcelona, most of them were jewls originally belonged to Infanta Isabel (La Chata) or Queen Ma Cristina but ended up on lateral branches.
For example,
-The pearl bracelet of La Chata to Elena.
-The sapphires, pearl necklace, pearl earrings from Ma Cristina and the emeralds from Queen Isabel to Pilar.
-Another big pearl necklace, the brooche with 5 hanging pearls both from Ma. Cristina and the diamond earrings and brooches to Margarita.
And there're more, like the 4 strands of pearls of the ''joyas de pasar'' from la Chata were divided by the Countess of Barcelona...

Under Queen Sofia the jewel chest was replenished with new pieces but sadly a lot of historic ones were lost!

..

There is a necklace to the sapphire set. Queen Sofia has worn it in the 80's and 90's but as we know Queen Letizia seems not to be fond of necklaces as she seldom wear one and if then mostly a single diamond or pearl necklace.

And that from the sapphire set is actually a quiet nice design and not as hideous as some of those Queen Sofia's ruby Sets

I'd forgotten that Queen Sofia loaned the earrings to Letizia in 2017!

Sadly King Juan Carlos sidelined both of his sisters and they only attended the odd State Gala and as such we rarely got to see their historic jewels.
