The Prussian Diamond tiara is the personal property of Queen Sofia,it would be a nice starter off tiara for Leonor or Sofia.

Queen Ena's Chaumet Spike Tiara I think would have been a perfect choice for Letizia as queen, shame the family were unable to buy it back.

Infanta Margarita has uses this tiara on several occasions, with or without pearls, but its origin is unknown. Infanta Pilar has the sapphire tiara made from a bracelet and gift from her parents for her 18th birthday, this tiara may have a similar origin.

This diamond tiara has a dent in the middle, which does not look good in a tiara. With the pearls it looks so much better because the middle pearl prong is so large that it makes up for the dent.

I really like the sapphire tiara. It has also been worn by her mother the Countess of Barcelona, her sister Infanta Margareta and her two daughters-in-law: Barbara Cano and Laura Ponte:

It is really a nice peace. Pity that it doesn't belong to the main branch as it would be a nice change to all the diamond and diaomdond and pearl pieces they have. Have read somewhere that it has belonged to the mother of the Countess of Barcelona.

Infanta Pillar looked regal. Pearls and diamonds are a classical combination.

It's a beautiful tiara. I hope it won't be too long till we see it worn by Queen Letizia.

Here is Simoneta Gomez-Acebo, Infanta Pila's daughter, on her wedding day.

The loop tiara originates from Queen Maria Christina. It supposedly was made by Cartier and she received it from King Alfonso XII for her wedding.

The Countess of Barcelona wore it frequently

I don't really think that it is the loop tiara. Here is another version of the picture
http://i1119.photobucket.com/albums/...psgd2fihk1.jpg

and a close-up of the tiara (cropped to less than 20% of the original pic)

and a painting where she seems to wear the same mystery tiara.
http://i1119.photobucket.com/albums/...pshfvoxjdu.jpg

Maybe it had to be sold during the exile? Or it was taken apart and the stones used for other jewels?
