Well,it's called Bagration tiara,so it's obvious that it has Russian Princely origin.

An Edwardian tiara, owned by Lady Delia Spencer, the eldest child of the 6th Earl Spencer is set to go under the hammer at Cheffins Fine Art Auctioneers later this month.

Lady Delia Spencer was the great aunt of Lady Diana Spencer who married Prince Charles in 1981 and was the lady-in-waiting to the Queen Mother.

I often wonder who are the people who have bought royal jewels that were on auction. Likely millionaires and billionaires.

Yes and if it will end up on back in royal or nobles hand to be worn,it would make a nice starter tiara for a Princess!

The Royal Order of Sartorial Splendor: Tiara Thursday: The Bessborough Tiara

I don't like the design of this tiara.

A wonderful video by an auction house about the Victorian parure of the Devonshire family. The duke and duchess share some insights about the parure:

A terrible parure to wear, but as the Duchess says, it was meant to display the gemstones of the family. And the stones are marvelous.

It seems they are not selling the parure, so why the auction house made this video is a mystery to me.

What a life that tiara had. I read the piece and thought it was probably highly uncomfortable! Sparkly, but uncomfortable.

The tiara is magnificent: delicate and intricate. Removal of the centre diamond is unfortunate. It reminds me of Russian lace kokoshniks.

A porcelain doll in a stylized Russian outfit.

Kokoshnik: Russiapedia Of Russian origin
