The tiara really looked very much like the Bulgari tiara, and it has a very modern feel about it. My guess is, that it's a loan. Are there any public pics of the eldest two siblings' wedding? It would be interesting to know if those brides wore tiaras.

It is Bvlgari tiara.

Btw, I read on another jewels forum that Princess Marie Luise zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg, sister of the groom is a brand ambassador of Bvlgari, so this would explain all I hope.

I'm sure the Bulgari tiara is the same one at the SWB wedding and that Tatiana wore at the Swedish wedding. Marc must have read the same thread at the Royal Jewels Of The World.

I am sure a Bulgari tiara is more expensive than an antic one of the sams sice.

Yes

10 years since I follow that forum and for some reason can't get the chance for participate

So, almost all I find interesting, I post here to be on one place, as sometimes I forget about something I found some time ago, so it's much easier to track as most it's here.

I agree. But Princess Tatiana borrowed the Bulgari tiara for the Swedish wedding. Most likely this SWB wedding tiara was on loan as well, so the price doesn't matter so much.

It looks to be the same tiara Princess Tatiana of Greece wore to Prince Carl Philip's wedding....I would assume, yes then, borrowed.

Prince Bernhart zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Hohenstein with then his wife Princess Katharina, born Countess von Podewils-Dürnitz wearing a tiara:

Does anyone know anything about this piece of jewel?

It looks like it could be worn as a necklace also.

I have now read the RJOTWB, and they also say that according to Point de Vue it was a loan. Also the groom sister, Princess Lilly, is a brand ambassador of Bvulgari.

Princess Franziska von Hohenlohe-Schillingsfürst, born Countess von Schönborn-Buchheim wearing something that looks like a huge tiara:

Doesn't this vintage photo look gorgeous? They really knew how to wear these jewels with panache back in the 1950s. This pic is from their pre-wedding ball in 1957, and the princess is wearing a Bavarian tiara. Afaik this tiara was last seen in public at the pre-wedding of Duchess Elisabeth in Bavaria, when it was worn by the mother of the bride, who is also called Elisabeth.

This is one of the rare and mostly seen pictures of her wearing this tiara:

Hope we will see it in the future some day.

That was at the pre-Wedding Ball of her daughter Sophe in 1993 There are only 3 occasions where she was pictured wearing this tiara. The pre-Wedding Ball of her daughters Marie Caroline in 1991, Sophie in 1993 and Elisabeth in 2004.

Here is one from 1991, the pre-wedding of Duchess Marie Caroline and Duke Philip of Württemberg.

I don't think that there are any public pictures of the pre-wedding of Duchess Marie Anna in 2007. Or was that a black tie affair?

There are pictures of the 2007 pre Wedding Ball. But this was only a black tie affair not white tie like for her sisters.

Can anyone identify tiaras worn by Princess Illona zu Schaumburg-Lippe, Princess Desiree zu Schaumburg-Lippe and her sister in law Princess Lena zu Schaumburg-Lippe?

Pictures were taken at Danish gala dinners. They are often invited as this branch of Schaumburg-Lippe family has descended from Danish royals.

Is this Thurn Taxis tiara on the portrait next to Gloria?

Who is the woman wearing it?
