Oh that is unfortunate...perhaps that one should be re-purposed.

It depends how it is worn. In the picture of Princess Theodora of Grèce and Baden is is nice with more full hair. Beautiful lady, Duke's of Edinburgh sister. It is very funny she seems from another era but her brother is still so actual.

We have seen the Jewels of the Sayn Wittgenstein Berleburg as well as the Sayn Wittgenstein's but does anyone have a photo of the HSH princely house of Sayn Wittgenstein Hohenstein's tiaras and jewels? I have seen Botho's wife but not Bernhart's former wife Katharina or his mother or sister(s) in family tiaras and jewels.

Not a lot of them exist on the web,if any...

Here is Princess Johanna zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Hohenstein wearing a tiara on her marriage to Count Axel Douglas.

And here is a wedding picture of Princess Jutta zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Hohenstein wearing "something" on her head on her marriage to Count Maximilian von Korff-Schmising-Kerssenbrock.

I agree with Marc that Princess Jutta is wearing 'something', but probably not a tiara.

As for the tiara of of Princess Johanna zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Hohenstein I am convinced that it is the same Douglas jewel that was also worn by:

Countess Elisabeth Douglas at her wedding to Prince Max of Bavaria

AD Walburga at her wedding to Count Archibald Douglas
This jewel reminds me of the wedding crowns which are traditionally worn in Sweden. Since the family is from Sweden I believe that this is their traditional wedding crown.

I don't know of any other pic of a potential Hohenstein tiara.

I agree with you on this. This Douglas tiara is a family heirloom which was made(as I think I remember) of crystal, not of diamonds.

I wonder what jewels there still are in the main line of the Windisch-Graetz. (Princess Katalin has married into a younger branch)

Did Princess Maximiliane wear a tiara when she married Prince Heinrich von Fürstenberg?

I think it is the Waldburg Zeil tiara which was worn by her daughters at their Wedding days and also a few times by then Hereditary Countess Mathilde

I think it's the same as the tiara Hereditary Countess Mathilde von Waldburg-Zeil at pre-wedding of Duchess Marie Caroline in Bavaria and Duke Philipp of Württemberg.

And maybe Maria Victoria de Verduga also wore it when she married Count Karl von Waldburg-Zeil in 1965. It is difficult to see, but there seems to be the same sapphire (?) in it.

The latter is a sister-in-law of Princess Gabriella. So if it is the same tiara, it must be of Waldburg origin.
