The Duchess of Cornwall wore her modern dragonfly brooches again.

I agree but I think it would actually work better as a choker/necklace

I can't imagine this tiara as a choker. With the high middle part it must be very inconvenient, if not impossible, to be worn as a choker.

I find the floral pattern of the Cubitt-Shand tiara very appealing, but the high centre piece suddenly popping out in the middle looks odd. Maybe the design was originally meant to be worn as an aigrette with feathers? I'm not sure if that could explain the outline.

From Her Majesty's Jewel Vault: The Greville Festoon Necklace

The necklace is incredibly breathtaking! It's just regal and exquisite.

I agree with you Rubies, I think it is gorgeous. I also love that her daughter wore it on her wedding day as her mother did when she married her father.

I personally think that worn with the tiara, it is too much but hey I wouldn't say no to it, nonetheless.

Got to admit, together with the tiara, they are one hell of a face framing.

That necklace is not a good look on Camilla.

I think it is the gown she wears with it. The neckline is sort of a rounded V-shape and it looks odd. It needs a dramatic gown with an appropriately shaped neckline, perhaps something like her gorgeous blues to balance the effect.

The Queen Mother wore it often earlier on before she altered the mighty Bouche. The pastel blue with the V-shaped neckline did not look good on her either.

This photo I found quite intriguing, it was obviously a photoshop because the Mighty Bouche is in it's original setting, and a vastly superior setting it was. And, there is no way on God's green earth that we would have missed her wearing Queen Victoria's waterfall brooch!

I just don't think Camilla have the right neck for a necklace like that. Or at least, she could wear one or two strands of the necklace. The full necklace appears to pull her down.

I think it's the illusion created by the way the neckline of that particular gown is shaped.

Take away the necklace and I still don't like the gown. It somehow makes her look very narrow shouldered which, when you consider the other gowns, is obviously not the case. I have a feeling that it was created as "Frame" for the necklace, rather than to flatter Camilla. Big mistake!
