The TRF hosted these pics before any mention on RJOTWMB!
Can't say I like this one. It's so small, it gets lost in her hair. I think she needs a bigger tiara with her hair.

Yes, Charles is wearing his Garter outfit, which includes hose when the Garter itself is worn around the leg.

ok, interesting. so is it tradition to wear the garter outfit to this event? does he wear it to other events as well? I dont think i've ever seen him in it before.

That's unusual IMO. The Garter is usually worn, together with a lot of other accoutrements, to the Gater ceremonies in Windsor and to the coronations. And Charles is not wearing the Collar of the Order of the Garter on the photo...

I love Camilla's new tiara. It seems she can wear large ones and small ones and I don't think it got lost - it was sweet and simple. I can't wait to find out if it is a new one - 'The Duchess of Cornwall Tiara' - has a ring to it.

the tiara may be Camilla's own(she comes from a noble family after all)

here's her wedding tiara. is it perhaps the same one seen last night?

It looks very much like her own tiara PollyEmma. Thanks for the pic! We may have to name this tiara if it isn't named already

if they are the same and it belongs to her family, I admire Camilla immensely for not wearing it as her first post-marriage tiara. it took some courage to wear the huge windsor family-owned one first.

I don't know from who she get this tiara or how she get it, but for me it look terrible on her hair (maybe it's the light but still terrible).

So, is it called the Shand Tiara, the Duchess of Cornwall Tiara or what?

I completely agree. it looks awful. I do think its her hairstyle and the way the tiara was placed. she seems to have a strange diamond horn emanating from the top of her head.

good thing its not 2 horns, otherwise the Diana fans would claim they'd finally gotten proof Camilla is the devil.

They wear it from time to time. For example Prince Philip wore the garter at the state banquet in occasion of Queen Margrethe's visit in 2000.

Sorry, the picture is a little dark.

Humour. I found it funny pollyemma! I don't think it looks awful but it could have come forward a bit - the side view isn't bad though - I like it but not as much as the Delhi Durbar.

thanks. yeah, I this tiara has potential. i think she just needed to work out the kinks. next time she wears it, I suspect the look will be very different.

You know the rules, cant put Camilla and Diana together in the same sentece if it is nice and funny. It must be a mean and vindictive statement.

I like the tiara, from the side it looks really nice but it gets lost in the front. It is too far back. If she had her hair curled more so it was out of her face a little and had the tiara up front it would look nice.
