Crown Princess Victoria Jewels 3: Jan 2016 - Jun 2023

I very much admire the way that Victoria presents herself. She invariably enhances what suits her best even when it is definitely not the current fashion which explains her perfect placement of the Fringe Tiara and her updo itself is, as usual, fantastic.

Strangely enough, I like the Epaulette earrings with this tiara. Madeleine was the first to use the combination and showed it was really a good look. More importantly, they are so big she doesn't need a necklace.

Victoria has worn the epaulette earrings two times before Madeleine had them, on the day before her wedding (without a tiara)

And on 11th December 2011, at the King's dinner for the Nobel Laureates (with the Baden Fringe tiara then too)

Madeleine wore them with the modern fringe, but agree, look great with both :flowers:

Victoria always has such elegant tiara hair. Tiara and earrings perfect with look.

Victoria wore today at the funeral of baron Niclas Silfverschiöld a brooch she wore sometimes 10 years ago, but it hasn't been see so much nowadays.

Victoria attends this morning at the annual gathering of The Swedish Leadership for Sustainable Development.

I think the hairstyle and gown both Victoria on her wedding eve and Madeleine at her father's birthday gala, were both a perfect compliment to the epaulette earrings. Victoria with her Cupid's Arrow and Madeleine with her modern fringe tiara were wonderful.

However, for some weird reason, Victoria's second outing with the modern fringe tiara and the neckline of her gown and the earrings just didn't work. It created a sort of box effect, very square and very unflattering. Had she worn her hair in its usual updo instead of looking like a couple of buns from the front, the effect would have been somewhat ameliorated.

It's been 4 years since she last wore this tiara. I find it awful. Beautiful necklace and earrings however.

I quite like that one...isn't that one of the Steels?

It's the smaller of the cut steel tiaras.

I thought it is quite nice of her to wear a low profile tiara at an event like this.

A smaller tiara is nice, however it doesn't suit her. Princess Sofia could use it instead, she could pull it off.

Everyone of us has their own opinions. The small cut steel tiara is one of my favourites, and I think it looks very good on Victoria, and I would like to see it on her again soon, with the comb.

Indeed we have, and I have to say that it looks nice in that picture. Though, it is not a favourite of mine as it tend to look quite pointy/triangular

I must say that I have never cared for this steel cut tiara on CPss Victoria and I've always thought it to be awful and somehow not regal-looking (especially when you compare it to other lovely Swedish royal tiaras). Then Sofia wore it...and I quite liked it on her and even better when she wore it last time with that red dress. Perhaps with different hairstyles it just works better? But now once again I didn't like placement of the tiara nor flatly slicked down hair because it created sloped forehead profile. I liked the earrings and necklace though.

At Solliden she had earrings, which she has had many times before. She had also a horseshoe necklace which she has had some times before. And she had her E and O bracelets. And as always, she got bracelets as gifts.

Victoria got as gifts on her 40th birthday:
The gift of Västra Götaland county to the duchess of Västergötland was a silver clasp. The silver clasp is a replica of what Kata, the Viking-day ruler in the big farm Varnhem, had over her chest to clothe her mantle - an important part of the former fashion among the women. The clasp is made by gold and silversmith Fredrik Lundberg, active at Kinnekulle in Västergötland.

Victoria wears modern jewelry very well but I wish she'd start incorporating the heirlooms to her daywear like her mother does.

Are you sure about her earrings? She first wore them in Japan on 21 April of this year and they appear to have some sort of stone surrounding the main edges of the larger pendant. I didn't think Charlotte Bonde had that kind in her design.
